I didn't see the OP suggesting anything about passive income etc or an affiliate link anywhere. What is a load of wank is people knocking something that they show limited knowledge of. Binary Option brokers are often scamming people but the fact that you can make an up or down call on a currency is no different to the Stock Exchanges around the world. Its what traders of anything do. Every trader at the Stock Exchanges are making the same call of where they think it will be at some time in the future. So you can use the same charts, indicators and everything else they use but I dont see anyone calling them wank.

What would be a gamble would be me betting on Arsenal v Man U or something like that as I hate football. Studying charts that the Stock Exchanges use is trying to give yourself an edge thats all and make the same calls they do. If you can read the charts then it will work for you. Simples really.

For someone who has been here since 2008 I thought you may have clicked on the the sales pitch threads desperate for PMs.

You know what I used to love about binary options? When I signed someone up I knew they was going to lose.

If you invest for the thrill you shouldnt be investing. If you invest for fun bet on sports at least you can watch a game and cash out with a percentage of your stake when its obvious you are not going to win.

If you are a rockape risktaker and have to go all in a bet then go to the casino and play roulette at least you will get free drinks.

I never claimed to have a system. Also I don't understand why people keep coming at me making these dumbass false accusations that I'm scamming. And that I've got an alternate account? Suuuurre. I never said this was passive income. It's not, but you can get online at any time of day and make money. It's a skill that must be developed. There are PLENTY of professional traders that do Binary Options.

Show me a trading book built solidly on binary trades over a one year period thats shows profit then. I bet you cant, in fact I know you cant it doesnt exist.Heres a basic overview of binary trading from forbes http://www.forbes.com/sites/investor/2010/07/27/dont-gamble-on-binary-options/. Theres lots of forums out there that would offer contradictory information but then you can decide if you like your financial information from Forbes or some guru on a forum.

Everything else you said there seems to relate to normal stock trading. You buy at X and hope to sell at Y. If the stock drops you lose....maybe 10%-30% depends on your exposure and the actual strength of the stock. Binary trades will wipe you clean out when they go wrong thats the danger.

You know there is no method when the guys argument is "I know more than you" and cant show us the actual results. Like new age hippies pushing their pseudo science.

You should also know that Forbes (which are not always right) wrote that article back in 2010, back when NO one knew what Binary Options are. There are plenty of people that trade Binary Options and doing it successfully for years. Yes, it's Zero-Sum, but with the knowledge, discipline, focus and strategy you WILL be in profit. Period. You need to only be 60% right to profit long term. NADEX is an official Binary Options exchange, and they're regulated by the U.S. but it's all a scam too, right? *Sarcasm*

I don't currently trust binary options brokers but a binary option in itself is not an evil scam that people should run away from.

if there are bucket shop brokers manipulating prices and not paying out, that's the issue.

The good ones are those that everyone trades with Also, if you're scared of brokers, you can set up with NADEX - a lot more complicated but safer and you have potential for MUCH higher payout depending on the contracts available.

who the hell would risk 100% of their account on one trade??
if you risk 5% of your account on a trade and lose..you lose 5%. If you win, you gain about 3.75%.
It's not a great risk to reward, but you don't have to worry about clearing the spread before you make money, hitting your stoploss and then going your way and if it goes in your direction by 1 single PIP when it expires..you still get the 3.75% gain.

You need to win ~58%(or lower) of your trades to break even in binary options.

It's not a terrible gig IF you have a broker that will pay you and is not manipulating prices.

I have been on both sides of the spectrum and continue to be on both sides of the spectrum(Forex trader and affiliate marketer) and after reading this thread I have never seen so many haters compiled on one thread. I recognized a few users who I know for a fact that have not made a dime in ANYTHING yet are quick to give their opinions on what makes money and what does not. The only mistake OP made was the subtle mention of offering consulting for a price, but besides that he has been correct with his posts. I have to side with the OP with most of what he has posted. Plenty of gems in this thread if you stop hating.

There is just no way that you can be disciplined and smart enough to make money with forex and binary, yet be dumb enough to be in a MLM as bad as WUN, or any MLM.

Forex / Binary Options are two very very very different things. In forex if you invest, and I mean invest (not rely on a 500% leverage), then you can ride a bad trade out / cut your losses. Binary Options is simply a 50 / 50 bet / martingale your loss, however all binary brokers are dealing desks, they trade against you, especially if you are throwing kiddie money in like OP.

This is bad news, not everyone has the patience and fortitude to sustain in BO. Furthermore, some do not have the cut or be in the forte position. There is always a disclaimer, "past performance is never an indicator of present ones" which explains clearly in risk management.

What I can say is read from members you trust and setup an account with the referred broker. Try out in small amounts and always keep in contact with the broker. He will try to help you out, not weed you out else kick em out!
