Hide your PBN for free (and bring down hosting costs)

I've learned a lot through BHW and I wanted to give back a little. In a previous post I touched upon how to mask money sites/PBN sites using CloudFlare.

Well that was the tip of the iceberg...there are tonnes of FREE CDNs (content delivery networks) out there. That will all hide your real IP addresses and name-servers from Google with enough variation to avoid suspicion.

So what's the point of this?

Why it means your free to purchase bulk, cheap hosting packages of course! You know, the kind that offer to host 15 websites for next to nothing but all have similar IP ranges that expose your private blog network to Google's crafty prying eyes, the kind that would normally put your PBN at risk of takedown.

How does it work?

Well CDNs act as proxies for websites, they're a middle man. It looks like this, web-host <---->CDN<----->Google, therefore your real ip and nameservers remain hidden and instead Google detects that of the CDN. You'll just be one of millions of people who utilise these CDNS - security by obscurity.

Of course for the more cautious, a good mixture of regular hosting and CDN masked sites is a perfectly good mixture for that extra level of paranoia but I would suggest with such varying ip addresses, you won't even be on Google's radar.

Using multiple hosting will do the same but if you use free CDNs, it will be cheaper

You can save a fortune as well as a lot of time that doesn't have to be spent maintaining hosting accounts etc

Google can't see your real hosting because the track stops at the CDN. Now the only possible footprint is that you have a money site with 20 CDNs pointing at it. Odd? Perhaps but with CDNs and their users proliferating, your site will fade further into the background.

I find it hard to believe that Google will penalise sites solely on the basis of large amounts of CDNs pointing to them.

Google is a Multi Billion company, but i don't think they can go that far into the CDN stuff, except when people starts using it to mislead the search engine bots to ranking for any keywords.

People have talked about the cloudflare method before, but if you google cloudefare IP addresses their entire range really isn't that big. I don't think you could host many sites there before you started having duplicate C Class IP's.

I think you should read the blog of both cloudflare and MaxCdn as they were creating problems for websites hosted by them

Google started content hosted on CDN as duplicate content and therefore, these CDN networks had to coordinate with Google and provide their IP range for adjustments within Google.

The datacenter location is different, the hosting provider is different (represented by name-servers) and I'm not really sure what you mean by footprint...I don't think you're grasping what a CDN does.

That's a given, but the point is there's no way Google can ban any site with 10+ links from sites that have cloudflare footprints. If that was the case thousands of perfectly whitehat sites would get the hammer. Google can dig up tons of data, but if that data doesn't help draw distinct conclusions concerning whitehat/blackhat behavior, it doesn't help them at all.
