I posted this in a different forum, but then I saw this one, and now I feel like a dipshit for posting it in the other one.

I'm looking to see if there is a way to have all my subdomains, which are all currently hosted on the same server as my primary domain, hosted on other, cheap servers in different locations. The trick is, I'd like to be able to access them all in one spot.

The desired end result would be that I can manage all of them in one location, but to anyone looking at them, they all look like they're on servers in different locations. Since they're all purchased through corporate names, it's easy to make the registration details different for each, but I just want to be as thorough as possible with keeping each domain looking as independent as possible from the rest.

Anyone know how to accomplish this?

Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but have a look at http://blog.cpanel.net/configuration-clusters-in-cpanel-whm-version-11-44/

So, something like this should be available in the newest cPanel version (11.44), but as devs mentioned on their blog, it's something experimental and many features are not working yet.

In cPanel when you add a addon domain it asks for the home folder.

Make sure that folder is shared by all the domains.

What does that do?
