Ok so I have about 17,500 articles for all my niches now. After "thinking outside the box" like someone else mentioned. All we need now is an automated dupe checker lol.

But seriously, I've been playing around with a few different plagiarism tools (not copyscape, free version blows) and you guys have to watch out for FALSE POSITIVES. Because a lot of these plagiarism tools will find the text on yahoo voices cached version, and return that as a red flag. I just ran through 100 articles and **ALL 100** came back as plagiarized. But NO SHIT they're coming back that way because ALL 100 marked the original source as yahoo voices! They all link back to the cached version. But NONE of the 100 articles I checked were posted on any other site but yahoo voices.

Which leads me to believe, like many have said, once all these cached versions are GONE most these articles WILL in fact be unique.

Like that 1 guy who said he checked a bunch of articles and most of them were plagiarized ... he probably didn't even check the original sources.

Here are 2 tools I've been using -

http://www.plagium.com/ (my favorite)

http://smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker/ (slow as shit cause it checks on a sentence level).

Both tools keep returning false positives... which I expected.

However, I'm still not gonna copy & paste all the articles. Because looking at them carefully, I'd say only 25-30% at best would pass Penguin 3.0. Most articles that date back to 2006-2009 will need some work. Like removing keyword stuffing, fluffing them out with images, better headers, better spacing, transcribing and rewriting certain parts for emotional impact (some of these articles read like a dead person wrote them), but all and all I'm happy as fuck.

I have such a surplus of articles I'm gonna wind up buying 15-20 expired domains and building my own PBN. Cause if I can rank and bank for 2 years straight using local authority sites with 80% deeply spun content, I can sure as hell make a killing with these articles. In fact, Yahoo voices is very likely going to triple my earnings over the next 6 months. :)

Hey BB,

How were you able to scrape such large no. of articles? In my niche, I am seeing 7K indexed page but when I set to show the no. of search results to 100 per page, Google won't show more than 6 page. I checked it through 4-5 niches and result was same.

Yea for some reason google doesn't show more than 6 pages of results

Just add more LSI or very related keywords and you will get a ton more results. Don't just stick to 1 word, add more. :)

Honestly dude I didn't even pay attention to any of that shit. I just kept typing the most generic keyword I could and repeating over and over till I had all the articles I needed.

@retraction - I appreciate all your help (seriously dude, I'd be in a mental shithole right now if it wasn't for you) but I managed to get all the articles I needed for those few other niches. All I did was keep changing proxies and repeat scraping. I don't need hundreds of thousands of articles and the articles I have now I'm not even sure if I'm gonna use them all.

Right now I got visual basic open and I'm trying to learn how to code a simple app that can automate the dupe check process. And I'm not really sure wtf I'm doing but I'm gonna learn this program come hell or high water. :)

Finished scraping all of the articles! 226531 yahoo voices cached article URLs. Will share this to everyone if only someone could help to automate the scraping of the articles. It would be of much help. Post your methods here. May it be with the use of proxies, VPN, etc. Thanks :)

That would be a great share :) I am having difficulty scraping the links. Maybe you could post the scraped links or the method how to scrape them easily from google. That would make a lot of people happy :)

Thank you soo much i did not know about this method
hope to find few articles

Here you go, guys. If somebody is able to download all of these, that would be great! :)

Update the thread with your progress if you did dl these.

Tons of thanks to Fatboy as well in his post here. He did all of the scraping as soon as Voices made their announcement.

This is hilarious. There are so many wanna be "programmers" on this forum it's unbelievable.

Fatboy uploaded a list that by now, probably more than half of those links are gone. Then he builds a "bot" that doesn't even work to download his own list. And instead of people calling him out on it, they thank him for sharing a broken bot!? If I had seen that thread when it was created, I would have called him out on it, and everyone could have had a working bot weeks ago. But I'm kinda glad he failed, because now people won't abuse the articles.

This is exactly why I'm learning visual basic. I have a regular developer I work with who could have coded this bot in less than an hour. But you gotta request a project a couple weeks ahead of time. So I was busy on here talking to 3 random "programmers" who didn't know what they were doing, most my articles were vanishing, and last minute a guy who doesn't know shit about coding... shows me a method to mass download the articles.

I'll give you guys a hint. You DON'T NEED A BOT. A certain billion dollar company (not Google) already has an addon that can do this. You just need a proxy switcher and you can scrape and download them all.

Problem is I can't reveal the addon cause the guy who shared it with me requested I don't. But if you look hard enough, and think very clearly with common sense chances are you'll find it.

And you are so full of shit its unbelievable - call me out then if you want, show me where this bot didn't work.

When the bot was put together it was working just fine, if it wasn't how come me and others were able to grab articles - shit me, its now working by grabbing the cached versions.

As for the links I uploaded being gone, I would say so as the site has gone - but using your 'common sense' and 'looking about' you could alter the links to grab the cached versions.

I am guessing that you are 'calling me out' due to a few possible reasons:

1. You tried to make a bot to sell, my freebie came out first
2. You are trying to make a name for yourself
3. You are trying to make money from people here by scraping the cached version to sell back to them

Either way, I don't give a shit - the bot was made in about 20 minutes whilst I was waiting for a taxi to pick me up to go out, yes out into the real world instead of hiding behind a keyboard 24/7, and watch the football. Does that beat 'your coder' that could of made the bot in less than an hour?

The bot was made as people asked for it - people have been generous to me here, hell people are that generous bluematter has bought me a JRVip subscription, thats the second time its happened to me being here so I can't be that fake - thats why I threw it out as a freebie.

Anyway, you enjoy your 5 minutes of fame wee man, I know the bot worked, others have used the bot to successfully scrape articles so you sir, are blowing it out your ass.

I will await your witty reply.

dude, no offense, but your bot is not working. it scrapes only the article names, the txt files have 0 bytes. I believe you when you say it worked but for now it isn't.

If you are using my original links and not the cached versions then yes, you will get a blank file as those links are now dead.

I tested the bot about 3 hours ago and it was scraping like a trooper using the cached links and here is an image to prove it:

He already mentioned that it worked for a span of time before the articles got to a state where they are cache-viewed only. And the text files aren't empty.
