Hi guys,

Blackhat SEO sounds yum, with all the tools like UD and Senuke and Scrapebox, most newb would feel like they can dominate the big G anytime (as long as they pay big).

But after all, what's the basic ?

Without the basic knowledge of manual SEO, one can only be a monkey with a blender.

I make this topic with a sincere effort to learn manual SEO, as far as I understand: once you've completed all the H1-2-3 heading and submit for Google index (crawl), you start creating new content with keywords, then make your link appear on website with high PR for backlink and anchor text, sometimes blog network.

Of course that's not it, but it is why I want to make this topic: Step-by step SEO guidance from PRO in this forum :D

Please teach me, is there anything I'm missing from the process above ?

P/S: Sorry English isn't my primary language

I personally think Becker at www.Source-Wave.com has the best content for beginners to learn SEO, but a lot of people don't like him. Check it out.

You can also check the download section

Once you got over the on site seo you will not get a an answer like you should do this, and then this like this... and this is normal because each one have it's own understandings and it's own strategy...

For me the basic of SEO have nothing to do with SEO... the basics should be some knowledge of logical algorithms, servers, programing.. not too much but just to understand how things works.

Many so called SEO Guru/ newbie take things for granted and don't understand that it's impossible for a machine to analyze the content on semantic levels and deliver 100% accurate data... and this is normal since they started doing seo instead of understanding how things works.

The the second thing that I have done at the beginning and I still do is testing... test everything you read, you find out or any idea.. I know that for this you need time and money but if you jump over testing you will just a guy along many others that take things for granted and are lead by seo guru/ big seo firms and G.

And third is that you need to invest money if you want to get money...

You already know most of what you need to know to succeed with SEO. On page optimisation and off page optimisation using high PR contextual backlinks and web 2.0 links for diversity are all you need. Publish fresh content regularly and make sure you do not over-optimise your site.

At this time, it looks like you know most of what you were going to ask. You should focus on your first line of back links. A good back link scraper would help you here.

It's kinda crazy, but SEO is actually really simple. If you outsourced every aspect of SEO it would look like this. Buy 10 high quality, hand written articles, 750 words or more. Put one on the homepage and the other 9 as WordPress Pages, not Posts. Post them to a partial match or branded domain. Put your keyword in the Title tag, make sure it appears in the article one time, and don't put it anywhere else (you can use the words that make up your keyword in the meta-description, but not exact match). Build high quality, high PR/PA/DA/TF links on a consistent basis (say 5-10 per day). Mix in stuff like web 2.0's to diversify anchor texts and link platforms. Send social signals (Like, Tweets). Thats pretty much it unless you're doing local SEO, which is a bit diff.

Thumbs up for source wave, it's perfect for beginners and a lot of it available for free

People have different approaches when it comes to SEO. But based on experience, if you are still a newbie, it would be best to begin by outsourcing content from the countless SEO companies out there. It is still and will always be best if you are going to invest your money in high quality content.
