Took me 5 minutes to manually search out 17 articles that made sense for what I was looking for and put them nice and neat into a folder with separate txt files. I have a feeling that this is going to be so abused that it will become pointless. Waiting for the 1 click bot that gets posted to make this truly brainless.

That would be a pointless share. Because by the time you get them uploaded most of them will already be on peoples sites.
If you want to share anything, share the method you used to automate the process. I care more about that because I've been slugging away all day 1 by 1 click download click download click download over and over and over.

He did it when the website was alive, it would be easier to navigate and save content back then.
Thats correct bro, i said i dont remember the google cache url, but basically you want to scrape and append at the start of each url the google webcache URL.

WAT? Dude. My brother has been working for At&t for more than 20 years. READ THIS CAREFULLY:
He has a massive storage room in his basement that is dedicated to all the free shit he's gotten from At&t. He must have at least $100,000 worth of computers, servers, hardrives, dvd burners, keyboards, motherboards, mice, computer screens, software and all sorts of shit that At&t regularly throws in their dumpsters.
I have 6 laptops that I keep in the trunk of my car all year round cause everytime I go to his house he's trying to give me another free laptop or desktop that I don't need or have any room for.
And I'm not selling the shit on ebay cause I don't have the experience to appraise all the crap he gives me.
The point is. It's WELL KNOWN that big businesses regularly throw away very expensive and valuable equipment. And there are a lot of people on ebay who go dumpster diving at night and make a full time income just selling other peoples "garbage". So this is not "too good to be true". This is reality.
I'll explain it at simply as possible.
A huge article database was taken down (yahoo didn't want the shit no more same way at&t throws away computers that are over 2 years old).
So now all these articles are stored in Google cache. But Google cache doesn't last forever. All it does it take a temporary "snapshot" of the content on a site. Then it comes back, takes another snapshot, and when it notices the articles are gone, they will VANISH forever.
Nobody can say exactly WHEN Google cache will update. But it WILL update and all these articles will vanish 1 by 1. It's not something that happens all at once. It happens slowly 1 page at a time. So it may take 2 weeks before all these articles are gone.... or it may take 2 months. All I know is the first person to steal the content and publish it on their site will be the first to benefit when Google cache updates.

Ok now I get it, but how do you know which ones where taken down. I did a search for the last 6 months and show lost of articles even from the last two weeks and when you go to the url send you directly to the yahoo home page. Is that the way to know? Also, this means that they might be doing this on a regular basis (once a year).
So anyways, a way to scrape these articles will not be share here right?

QUICK FYI - I'm recanting my previous offer because I've already downloaded all the content I need manually. And Roy, I appreciate your help brotha but your method doesn't work. So I'm not sure why you're pretending like it does lol.
There was about 6,000 pages of content in my niche yesterday and today it was reduced down to 646. So 90% of those pages were literally removed in 24 hours. But I managed to grab every last one manually. And by tomorrow there will be no articles left in my niche.
For those who are still considering this method, there's no point now unless you're in a competitive niche. Google is taking down these cached pages ridiculously fast and I think in another week there's not gonna be any articles left at all.
The good news is I found my own database to exploit and those articles aren't going anywhere.

Yes, please, for godsake post the tool!!! I missed out on like 5000 articles cause nobody posted a tool earlier in this thread. Even though I got over 600 articles I'm still pissed as hell that 5000 articles.... which I could have USED FOR MY SITE.... just VANISHED into thin air. What a waste of time and money.
