Now that I got you in trapped in this thread.

Bitcoin Faucets.

Does anyone know of anybody/or is making a profit with Bitcoin faucets from the ad revenue?

They are difficult to set up, but may be rewarding if you could manage to get absence to approve your site.

when I say this I am talking about running one.

I dunno about you but I wouldn't just using normal BitCoin faucets. I would want to either exploit them or run them. Those are my only two options here.

Hah, yes I am talking about running one.

exploiting one could be interesting.

Potential ways of monetizing a successful BitCoin faucet:

Adsense
Banner Advertisements In Forms of PPV/Pop-ups
Have a premium section and devise of an elaborate scheme for incentivizing users to want to pay for more potential rewards
E-mail Marketing to them free CPA offers
E-mail Marketing to them free stuff in which leads to some kind of sales funnel which could convince them to buy something

What other possible ideas are there? I wouldn't mind running a BTC faucet either.

Best way is absence but its hard to get approved I hear, IMO

I think it is against adsense tos to use ads on faucet sites.

Adsense is not hard getting approval for. You should probably talk to their team to see if you they'll allow you to run it before you build your site.

It also isn't the highest probability for monetization either. Just saying.

Yes it is. But I could have a news site on it, just a generic one. That's 1 way to get around it.

Yeah I will talk to support.

Wow... I could build a huge email list, and use that.... that is a good idea actually! Gotta add an email submit to my faucet.

What would you think is the best idea for monetization?

Bitcoin faucet for users who are using bitcoin are just time wasters...btw I know that people are making money with btc faucets placinds ads, cpa, exchange links in their website. You should get good traffic if you send your btc faucet website to btc faucet websites directories or share links in forums..
