My latest flat design. Whadaya think?

I'm working very hard to get better with my design skills. My last design didn't really get any rave reviews here on BHW. I decided to create a flat design because that's what's "in" right now. It's missing social icons that I need to throw in there somewhere, but I'm proud of it thus far. I even created the iPad looking thingy myself.

I like it, it's very clean. The colours are ok too, I'd like it in a few different colour combinations. This is dependant on the niche though I suppose.

but i prefer a more eye catching download button, also its better if you put another button of buy now or something similar because people are too lazy to read what you've written *buy for 1.99$..........*

You should put some kind of divider between the header and the main content.

One suggestion I have is to use less content blocks,
and use more titles. People scan, not read.

Mind showing an example of tiles VS what I have now? I'm not quite sure what you mean.

It's funny how we all chase the latest design craze when it comes to UX, myself included but I can't help but wonder when we do this so we automatically sow the seeds of a site looking stale? In any case you're design is okay, nothing exciting but that begs the issue what's the target audience for your design?

We chase them because they're what's in. If we don't stay with the times, then we wind up with a website that looks like it's from the late 90's.
