you will see notification on your page for verification i think

When your page is eligible for verification it will give you a notification or if you are admin/editor of a friends page it will have it appearing at the top of the corresponding page. Then after that you will be able to access the form. If not then you won't be able to view the form.

I got a page verified by writing through the ads section and they forwarded the mail, but i am looking for a direct link as i've heard there exist.
