The only way I see it done without Google getting pissed off is to import it but use robots.txt to block Google from indexing the copied content. However, keep in mind that if you do that, you'll still need to have some really good content to rank - and strong links to it.

Why import articles from other sites when you can just create your own. Just search for articles you like, copy them, and ask someone to rewrite them for you on freelance sites (e.g. Odesk) for a small fee per article. That way you can have unqiue content that you'd want Google to index and they'll bring in additional traffic to your site.

If you don't care about indexing, then you can copy paste the content to your website, But there will be several problem you need to face, Like copyright, No rankings or penalization or blah blah problems..

Better hire a writer to produce unique content for your website to put an END for all the problems

As others have mentioned downloading and spinning articles is one way, but it is both a little unethical and dangerous

If you are okay using noindex / robots.txt you could just buy an article package (or even use a free) I am not much into hat sort of thing any longer, but in the past, there were lots of such arround.

As per op's question, I think he is looking for content syndication from other blogs to it own. Op you should take a look at wprobot, I think it has function to add specific urls.

The blog from where you import content is your own blog then you can import content for your website, otherwise I suggest to hire any freelancer for this job who can create fresh and high quality keyword stuff content for your website and it is best for your website in terms of Google eyes.
