hootsuite and twitter

Does anyone here use hootsuite and twitter? I always see people talking about it when I KIK them for trades or DM them. I asked someone for trades tonight and they said that they were in a "hootsuite". About a year ago I used the app for scheduling tweets, but I must have missed something idk but is anyone familiar with this app and how it's useful with twitter? Thanks, Skype: opensight44

They're all linked into an a hootsuite account to do trades basically.

Besides Hootsuite I liked using SproutSocial It was good just had a 30 day trial only.
but after 30 days you can create a new account and use it again..
