Your CTR for newsfeed is pretty average. I can get 4% easily as well. Aim for 8%+

...you don't need proof, he is - alot of people just know who he is including myself. I have no idea if this account (http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackha...n-lenahan.html) is ryan's though, but there's no doubt this 357smith is him though.. I've talked to him and maybe that's why he's not responding idk.. But yeah it's him. Maybe mods can cross-reference ip's to see if its in the same vicinity idk.. As for the methods he's outting, it's outdated that doesn't work anyway and will just give you a jist of how the business works. good luck
 
Hi Smith, thanks for the great info! I was wondering: Why do u recommend to avoid using custom audience and more specifically uid scrapping. It would seemed to be the best way to target a really custom audience for the niche you want, and the way to getting a really high CTR....

UID scraping is against the TOS and Ive "heard" of people getting banned doing it (but can not confirm this). If you want to target people that have liked a certain fan page or something you can easily target them in ads manager.

$10-$30 profit range would be SUPER HARD to make happen, especially if you dont have super laser targeted audience. Stuff like diet worked because were all fat and need to lose weight so it appealed to the masses.

Blah still on the whole guru thing huh? Oh well, I do regret using that word. Have not sold coaching or anything. This thread was purely to motivate some people to dive into FB.





Lately diet has been dead on FB, mostly due to the crackdowns from FB in additional all the negative press diet pills have been receiving lately. I know lots of guys that did 10-30k per day on diet walk away. EDU and astrology are really popular still and FB compliant.... roi is much lower but you can still bang out 2-4k per day profit.

I did dating on FB ppc using my personal accounts about 2 years ago and profited really well.
I hit the 1k daily budget and almost 2x my money using SocialAdninja. I will try to reopen
an account using the method you mention above. I also use the site mywot when direct linking
wasn't an issue, to determined if a LP will get approve or not. But the game has change I will
re-educate myself again.

I looked through your thread and saw you recommended using Employee Debit Cards for billing method on FB accounts. Can you enlighten me a little more on how you deal with the billing, funding, and withdrawing aspects of FB advertising?

the crackdowns from FB are because of how you make the ads(text or picture you're using) or from cloaking?

Just a quick question: is it viable/profitable to make "white hat ads" without using cloaking? I know it all depends on the offer and targeting but still a valid question I suppose.
