For a total newbie, would you recommend to start on PoF or Facebook? Or even mobile? Thanks.

If you're targeting mobile users do you create a responsive landing page for mobile phones and aswell the offer you are promoting is responsive? I have checked a few offers and haven't noticed a responsive landing page available by the advertiser.

Yes I setup a responsive LP and ensure the offer I am promoting is responsive also, otherwise I wont do mobile traffic for that offer.

Can you please let me know how much time will take for the FB ads? And can we compare with adwords ads to FB ads?

Please let me know.
Thanks,

Anywhere from 1 second to 20 hours per day... Up to you.

FB is possible for beginners, took me about 1 week to become profitable, shortly after that I had my first xx,xxx profit day.

Why is the step Redirect Domain there?

Because when FB bans your account they ban your domain, thus you need a new one so you grab a cheap $9 domain and use it for a redirect.

Right now cloakers are way beyond my price range, could you describe a simple, whitehat, Facebook ads funnel that would turn in a decent ROI (less than yours I'm sure) for a FB newbie looking to scale later to blackhat after some profits are under his belt?

Thanks for your efforts on this thread 357smith, sorry to be a hassle but can I get an answer to the above please?

Sorry, it's not clear for me.
Why would they ban only the redirect domain? They will surely know your legitim domain (where cloaker is) and possibly also the LP, the money site URL, domain.
So you surely have to throw away also your legit domain, shouldn't you?

Test out some offers and find out what works. There ARE compliant offers to run, their not easy to find or master and the ROI is pretty low but its out there. Try EDU and horoscopes in addition to cheap international traffic.

$10 Throwaway Domain > Cloaker > Ad Tracker > Landing Page > Offer Page

When they ban your account the $10 throwaway domain is blacklisted.... $10 and you get a new one.

When you launch a new FB account you warm it up with a NEW domain redirecting to a unique and clean page (such as bestbuy.com) then after they approve your ad you change it to point to your cloaker, which points to your ad tracker which points to your LP.

Why can't you point the domain straight to the cloaker from the beginning? That's how I've been doing it all this time.

Maybe some one knows any domain cloaker service for fb?

I want to ask .... I read somewhere that there should not be more than 16% text in the add ... then i read the FB explanation.

My question is then we are left with only visual adds ... how to portray your message without much words. My idea is to put Big words in the ADD to get attention ... rather than just image ... I see some pretty strange images in ads ... makes no sense ... really i mean for example i see the ad is about IM and the image is a man jumping from one clif to another .... nonsense .. IMO ... there must be BIG text to say something.... OR what you suggest?

3 questions:

1)how much money have you made since posting this thread in april?
2)how many hours do you work per week? whats your schedule like?
3)facebook ads still working? or try something else?

Edit:

NOBODY calls themselves a guru if there is no ulterior motive!!

no, no, no. The ones that call themselves a "guru" are typically those that start out not making much money, come across something that makes them a lot of money and then they think that makes them a guru as it goes to their head. He's only been at this since november, no where near enough time to "truly" be a guru. He's just got something that works really well "today". And really, what he's doing and the information he's providing is all over the net if you spend the time to actually put it all together. Regardless, it looks like he's making bank and I would hope that he's smart enough to take that money and invest it in a real long term stable business as these sorts of methods tend to not last for long. Or at least, significant changes eventually come about and many fail to adapt.

Notice that facebook traffic has the lowest time on site, have you noticed the same or is it specific to my followers?

First of all, thanks for posting and answering questions. I really appreciate it.

In your opinion what's a ballpark/minimum margin you should make for FB ads to be profitable? I know CPC rates can vary but is there a bottom floor (i.e $10/sale) where it becomes impossible? The reason I ask is that I'm thinking of promoting a dropship site where the margins are in the $10-$30 range and from what I can tell its going to be close.

f73e0dbefbb471cdab75afe72d7f961f.jpgPlease see this ads screenshot to a Teespring sale.

I don't get why when I lower my PPC to the suggested rate I get no impressions, but when I raise it to about 0.50c I get loads - but with an awesome CTR. Shouldn't my CPC be really low by now?

The ad has been up nearly 24 hours. Do you see anything wrong here?
