How do I convert a DOC to PDF without losing all my embedded links?

Ok, I feel like a noob posting this.. but I'm completely stumped. I have several MS Word docs that I need to convert to PDFs, but whenever I do it, all of my embedded links are removed.

Where is the setting, in ANY PDF converter, to make it keep clickable embedded links from a Word doc? I have Acrobat, PrimoPDF and PDF995... none of them preserve the links as I have them configured....

Please help, these files are for one of my big IM projects of 2009... need to launch this project to make more money.

if you use MS Word 2007 you can try save as and choose PDF as file type since Word 2007 allows you to save PDFs directly.

openoffice.org is the way to go, it's identical to microsoft office, only it's free. It has a built in Doc to PDF converter.

Yup I was about to suggest that as well, it is what I have used many times for the same purpose.
