okay now lemme share my case here :
well first i had problem with their servers... vps... not of quality but i wasnt able to get them to work as i wished the use of their.. it is the cheapest budget vps they have...
well i honestly did not expected the support to be able to help me.. to that extent that i wanted for free... well hell even i wouldnt have done that much.. so i talked to support and asked if i was eligible for refund
but damn man they guys made it through the best support ever
from complete rebuilding to zpanel installation to my smtp setup to email account setup everything i wanted they support did it for me and that too within few hours!!!
and now everything is running smooth for me and at its best!!
am definaitly happy with their service and vps seems to be doing good job too!!
i was about to leave their service but hell now i am probably their fulltime long term customer!
i would say but one thing

RECOMMENDED

their support is nice
their server does their job and i am happy
and hell the prices are cool too

i had good experience in hostwinds in past but now they have disappointed me for mere 7$
so here is it
last time few weeks back when i contacted support.. i was buying new ip .. so when i enquired about my new ip being fresh for cpanel trial
support told me that extra ip are clean ip not fresh but clean
only new ips that come with new vps are fresh ips
so today i went on and bought a new vps...
within few mins it was setuped.. so i tried cpanel.. but it wasnt a fresh ip.. have been used multiple times on cpanel before
so i contacted support asking for a fresh ip as i have to try out my somthing with cpanel if it dosnt work there wont be sense for me buying cpanel
support denied my request.. i told them that i was told by their support that new vpses come with fresh ip and they still denied to help me with this
so within like 1-2hours(due to delay in replies over support ticket it took 2 hours after buyng vps) when i confirmed they have finally denied to help me... i requested a refund and cancelation
well i was clear from start of ticket that if this cant be helped that i haveno need of vps and would like refund and cancelation
My request to refund was denied...
within 2 hours of buying vps and not even using it i am being told that i am not eligible for refund
this is their refund policy on frontend promtion contain
"We want our clients to be successful, profitable and secure - and above all - completely satisfied with our service. If a client is not satisfied with their Hostwinds service and notify us within the first 60 days of opening their account, they will be given a full refund - Guaranteed."

but inside it contains that its only for first order
so basicaly if u buy a second vps .. they have full rights to fuck you over!
shaddy and shitty as hell

their support misguides you into buying things that costs more.. hell i cud have gotten this same ip with buying extra ip yet i bought a new vps just cuz i was misguided and now denied refund

This doesn't sound right, we would be more than happy to refund you, especially if it is the same day. The rule about only refunding the first product is to prevent coin miners from ordering 50 VPS's and requesting refunds on all of them at 59 days.
