Hello friends, i need to know one thing: Google algorithm not is same for all countries?

I'm asking it why, i'm using same method to rank in my country and not having success, my blog dropped few positions...

And i used to rank google global and ranked very good... (web2.0 + tier 2 links).

And, not is only me, my friend have same problem, don't rank, only google global... whatafuck is this? :S

I would like to know that too. I am interested about that. It seems like google in some countries don't have Penguin and Panda and allow multiple sites with duplicate content ranked on Page 1, spammy backlinks, etc.

It is the same - however, depending on local competition, it may be easier to rank crappy sites on .com.xx than on .com, for example.

In my situation is different. It looks easier to rank on google.com than on crappy google.com.xx

I think its the same. Or it will not be possible for Google to monitor hundreds of countries.

is your website in the country spcecific language? Is it attached to an address in that country? if not, you have the first 2 reasons.

I dont know it :S

My competition have 3 backlinks and i can't derank them... for me is more easy to rank .com / .com.xx is more hard for me... not working web2.0 very weird...

Yes me too!! i have problem to rank .com.xx and for .com i rank good..

I dont know, i'm using same strategy for both..

Yes my website is writed by my language and .com.xx too.

I think .com and .co.uk are far more manually policed than any other location, at best other countries get a penguin/panda refresh once or twice a year...

there is a difference between local and global version. try out new ideas and you will have your own ranking strategy.

It is the same, however if you search for local terms or with local language it avoids showing less results, by including sites it would otherwise filter due to spamming.

How long is the interval between when you ranked a site on Google global/US and now that you are trying to rank a site on your country-specific Google search? If the interval is long, then maybe something changed within that period, which means it doesn't necessarily mean that Google uses a different algorithm for different countries.

That said, there are probably slight differences in the way Google ranks sites in different countries.

I think the algorithms are the same but certain queries are more policed than others. I agree with "prab 1996" there're a lot of factors that will make you rank differently and targeting local queries is one of them.

Yes, this situation I faced last week. I got 2 keywords on first page globally, but when I searched locally. I found one on 2nd and another on third page.

Good question, but the answer is NO. Google is rolling out the bigger algorithmic updates per region or per country. For example the first version of the Panda update were only released for the regions speaking English. After that they deployed it to several european countries to see what the influence was there. In the end after a couple of months they deployed it worldwide.

Yes, Google Algorithm is not same, So We need to promote our website by targeting appropriate country.

Update is a Global level one. But the algorithm is differed by the location. Consider the algorithm is around language and content, then different languages require different algorithms. Google changes it algorithm based on different countries.

Google uses different algorithms for various countries. They confirmed it several times, especially when they make panda/penguin updates, and only push them for com/us to follow up with the pushes for other countries several weeks/months later after they see the initial results.

Some spam techniques that would get you penalized on .com / us still work on local countries.

Thanks all... for example... i can rank with only article directories, but with web2.0 not ranks... its very weird :D

anyway thanks!!

It is the same but there is one big difference: Google only works relatively well with English content.
