Edit : Bought my VPS from PowerUpHosting, better safe than sorry :)

Hi guys, I have been looking for a VPS for quite awhile now. My budget currently is $30/month and the best deals I found where the following.

Hostwinds
Price = $31,5 monthly (there are coupons thought <3 BHW)
CPU Cores = 2
RAM = 3 GB

Berman Hosting
Price = $28,5 monthly (without coupons)
CPU Cores = 2 (x3,4Ghz)
RAM = 2 GB

PowerUpHosting
Price = $30 monthly
CPU Cores = 2 (x3,5Ghz)
RAM = 2 GB

GreenCloudVPS
Price = $35 monthly
CPU Cores = 4
RAM = 4 GB

I'm spoiled for choice here,what do you recommend?
(I intend to use GSA SER with 3-4 projects on it and scrapebox)

Im with hostwinds but seems like green.... are a lot cheaper

Heah! And you can add 1 Core CPU or 1 GB ram for only $6!! I think I'll be going with them, going to search for reviews.

pay $45 and get your own server on ovh / soyoustart . GreenCloud is just a reseller of ovh dedicated servers .

I Damn the price is insane! How can they offer such a cheap service!!

If you're looking to run Scrapebox stably you'll need a ton of ram! Seriously, most VPS providers will claim you only need 2GB of ram to run Scrapebox... but you'll be having freezes and crashes every single time you run the scraper! The more, the better!

vpswindows.biz is the best for your budget. They have a thread here, check them out. :cow04:

I would suggest 4, I have it and it runs perfect, but if it out of your budget then choose according to that

I was about to purchase but then divok mentioned ovh which is insanely cheap and is a legit company overall. I'm just confused about their plans, so many :P

4 GB seems to be the most popular for running these scripts on a remote VPS. Good luck with your choice. Let us know how it goes for you.

I sure will. But the most important thing when searching for a good vps is the CPU cores' power because the GSA, as a 32bit application can't use more than 4 GB ram anyway.

Check out my sig.

Anyway, do keep in mind that GSA Search Engine Ranker is a 32-bit application. So it can only utilize up to 4GB of RAM and nothing more.
So having any higher than that is pointless.

What I would recommend is getting a 4GB VPS solely to run GSA 24/7. And another VPS, maybe just at 1.5 GB or 2GB RAM to solely run on Scrapebox.

Thanks for the feedback. I got a VPS to run GSA on from Poweruphosting and I think I'll run Scrapebox on my own PC during the night.
