I had the chance to test it while in beta version and I must say that I was very satisfied with the accuracy.
A great feature of LightSerp are the screenshots, so when you check you know for sure that the keywords are in top 20.

hello i was invited to beta test lightserp
serp checking went smooth and every end of the day i get the report by email
and i love the pay per usage thing so i don't wana pay extra
and i asked them to add few search engines and they did it with in few hours
totally recommended!

Really great idea for a SERP tracker. You can choose how often you want your results to be updated and save money.
Even with daily tracking this service is cheaper than most of other rank tracking services.
Very fast and easy to use.
I would totally recommend it!

I can honestly recommend this service to everyone.

Have been using it for a week or so. The pay-as-you-go system comes in handy especially when the number of keywords you need to track frequently changes as in my case. You will save some nice money for sure. The support is great as well. Always opened to new suggestions, tips or questions.

Absolutely, there are 200 credits included for free when you register. Plenty to test it out!

Rankings are updated as often as you choose: hourly, every 6 hours, daily, weekly or manually (on demand). One check of a keyword = 1 credit, so setting 10 keywords on daily check would consume 10 credits per day.

Looking good so far, just started the trial!

Rankings seem to be accurate and I like the option that you can choose whenever you will use credits (daily, weekly, manual, etc).

Besides the fact that its very cheap!

It checks 120 results. I'll consider adding the option to go beyond that for extra credits - thanks for the suggestion and let me know if you think of anything else!

So I've been using this tool for a couple of days now and I genuinely love it and I've been recommending it to my friends (that affiliate feature has come in handy).
The only remarks I have so far is that it's a shame it only shows KW search volume for google.com (not for local searches) and s stated above it would be nice to get results for at least 200 positions.

All in all a great tool to have! 9/10

Just wanted to clarify that there's a reason we check less results than many competitors. It's because many other services scrape Google with 100 results per page, so getting for example the top 300 = 3 requests for them. We scrape the first 20 positions with 10 results per page to improve accuracy - not until after that do we switch to 100 results per page. Checking 120 results = 3 requests for us.

So yes, we don't go as high as many competitors, but our rankings more accurately reflect what users see (since they almost never use 100 results per page). It's a balance act between maximizing accuracy and minimizing requests to Google. That said, it seems there is a demand for checking beyond 120, and for extra credits I don't see why not... Just need to make sure it doesn't get confusing for users with the extra credit spend that would require.

Another quick clarification: it does support other countries than US/.com for search volume, but not all of them at the moment. Hopefully we can improve this in the near future - I'm looking into alternative sources for this data.

I was one of members who recieved LightSerp review, Very easy to use, cheaper than other services, especialy if you target small amount of keywords, as you pay for each keyword, not for banch, I relly like concept pay for what you use, I use to have rank trakers with like 20-30% empty slots on big packages.
It will feed perfectly ppl who use google as main traffic resource. The only one thing stop me to switch my rank trackers to LightSerp it's ability to track only google as search engines, but for sure I will use system for my and clients google based sites.

Exactly, The more than 120 is needed a lot, so to author:
If you use 3 requests to 120 and take 1 credit, maybe give option to add 300 positions by 1 credit? First step 520 pos. next 820 pos. and so on.
