:( Help needed

reply to them in the most modest way possible. explain to them your story from beginning to end and tell them the truth. Try to be personally reasonable and responsive with them. Respond as soon as you can and show emotion of sadness and motivation to fix the problem. In other words take the initiative and get it done.

hope this helps bro

p.s. 3k is a nice amount of money.
too bad I am not banking that in yet.
So far I have only made $40 with Internet Marketing. lol
I will be there some day.

Thanks a lot, thats what i did. But its kind easy for the big networks to "expire" you without a true reason, thats why im really scared.
In the beginning i was doing less than $40, its not that hard to get $3000 or even more, you just need to read BHW and take action!

Well if you didn't post on there ask them for the link. It may be a competitor posted it to get you banned.

No, i was doing direct linking (wich was ok to the advertiser because i asked before the start of my campaigns) so the referer was from google or the search partners from google. If they ask me to remove the ads from gumtree, that was because they had clicks with that referer and not blanked.

I will wait for their reply and see what they said, im pretty sure it was from the adsense on their site, if not i think it will be harder to explain that someone is posting them for me. How can i proove them if someone is posting just to get me banned from CJ?

tell them exactly what you told us - i would personall call them... dont mention that you think a competitor put your links on there till they identify actual posts with your links on... if in fact they do...

if they can give you actual urls with your links - you have a reasonable excuse for them being there... ie your competitors

other than that if theyre not actual posts but they maybe coming from your paid google ads and they are just showing google ads on gumtree... makes sense to me...

but definately call them.... hth

also any communication you have had with your affiliate - have that to hand... tell em your not going to spend $$$ if you could have spammed gumtree for free!!! doesnt make sense...

Thanks, i thought in call them but in their FAQs i saw this:

"If you have received a warning from Commission Junction or an inquiry regarding your promotional methods, you need to respond immediately and follow the instructions in the correspondence you have received.

Failure to respond in a timely manner in writing as instructed could lead to the reversal of commissions and account termination.

What not to do:

Do not call Client Support and ask to speak with someone in our Publisher compliance department. They do not take phone calls.

The right thing to do:

Read the inquiry or warning very carefully. If you have been told that you are engaging in any suspected non-compliant activity, take quick action to cease such activity. Then, immediately reply in writing as directed stating that you have corrected the specified non-compliant activity. If you have been asked to describe your promotional methods, reply back at once with a thorough description of how you are driving traffic to your website or through your links.

If you are unable to login to your account, you may email Network Quality at [email protected].

Commission Junction takes non-compliant publisher activity very seriously. The failure to respond in a timely or sufficient manner could jeopardize your relationship with advertisers and could lead to termination of your Commission Junction affiliate program."

Call them and show all your GA account proofs, tell them you didn't post it on gumtree and it maybe the result of GA ads or your competitor trying to screw you up.

CJ is a great network and for me kinda friendly, have been with them for the past 2.5 years.

do you know who is managing your affiliate program i usually call all my affiliate managers before i start actively promoting them... usually they are very helpful.....

i guess do what they say if you cant reach your IM - just make sure your email is laid out well.... make numbered bullet points as you address each issue, just look as professional as you can be, thats my advice show them they are not dealing with a scammer/spammer but a pro-bonafide marketer! :)

Thanks, but i cant see any AM in my cj account, i think they have one for each advertiser.

I received a reply from CJ:
"Thank you for your prompt response to this issue and for your detailed explanation of your promotional methods. In order to confirm your compliance with advertiser keyword policies we will need you to provide examples of where we can find your paid search ads. Please provide 10 examples of keywords you use in your ppc campaign as soon as possible

Sincerely,

Publisher Support"

I replied to the email and now i will waiting to see what they said. At least i could expect 10 non converting clicks that i will pay because of their tests
I will update when i receive next email.

I think its ok for now, but i will only be sure when i see the next month check :)
Thanks a lot for your support guys!

I always feel bad when cj pulls this crap on people. They know its adwords. If not all you should show them is a screen shot of your placements if you made any of them.

I just recently got a similar email from CJ. Only it was for posting a link to my site from youtube then redirecting to the advertisers site. I use maxblogpress's ninja affiliate to cloak my affiliate links. I didn't even realize that I had those links listed on youtube. They said they were canceling my affiliation with that advertiser and would be contacting them to see if they wanted to reverse my commissions.

So I made the videos private and responded to the email and said the links had been taken down and I would not be promoting that affiliate anymore. I got an automated response that the email had been received and have never heard from them since, that was about a week ago. They said in the letter if they did not hear from me within 48 hrs that my CJ account would be canceled within 15 days. Im beginning to wonder since they have not responded, other than the automated response.

BTW, I had promoted this affiliate since last october 08, I had one sale, last month paying a total of $60. I can't believe they are upset over $60 commission. I have 115 pages indexed on google of people commenting on this product, and only one sale. I changed from Cj to ebay, hopefully I will get more sales. The $60 commission went through and was just paid to my bank account.

:cowboy:

Did you changed the email address when you sent the reply to them?
