After I rebooted my VPS Windows Server 2008 today Proxy Multiply won't open giving me an error:

I've already submitted a ticket but didn't get a reply yet.

Please fix this ASAP because I paid for the software and I need to run it 24/7!

Very sorry about the error guys, it's resolved now! The MySQL database worked itself into a rut somehow. The table has been repaired and all is well in the universe again. Thank you for your patience, I'm sorry I didn't get to it sooner but that's how weekends go!

I can only gather about 30-100 proxies if I'm lucky. It's probably because I'm testing it against a specific URL but 30-100 is not enough and plus the software I plug the proxies into tells me that some of the proxies are bad. So I'm actually getting less than 30-100 proxies max.

Maybe it's just me? Are there certain settings I need to be aware of in order to gather proxies towards a certain URL?

I would say it's just you, the software is capable of finding hundreds of proxies. A possibility is that your 'Check against specific URL' settings are impossible/not configured properly and it's causing errors. Are you sure your specific URL settings are proper?

As long as your browser has the proxy enabled, java applets won't be able to detect your real IP as long as you don't allow the applet elevated permissions. I don't know if java applets are capable of querying/performing a ping or netstat/dns request, but a standard permission application shouldn't be able to do that. As far as flash cookies, you will have to do some research on your own about that as I'm not sure.

Xexist, they are standard proxies and will work for any tool you plug them into as long as you follow the type of proxies the tool specifies. SOCKS proxies or anonymous/elite anonymous (high anon) proxies are probably best for email creation. Avoid transparent HTTP proxies.

When inputting the settings for the specific URL I just put the URL in the box. And that's it. Isn't that all you need?

Nope, you need to also enter data in the "Content to look for in the page" box. Usually you can just put a section of the page title (the text displayed at the top of your browser window). For example, if you wanted to check against this very forum post, you would enter "NEVER buy proxies again" as the content to look for (no quotes).

Hi Zipix, thanks for your interest in Proxy Multiply. The software is able to check proxies against Google as you probably know (click the Proxy Type button on the main window and select 'Proxies for Scrapebox (must be Google enabled)'. I would strongly recommend that you download a free trial from www.proxymultiply.com/download as I don't have experience with that specific software.

Sorry for the delay Zav, we have been busy with another project lately. You should have access to install your license on 2 PCs right out of the box - if you can't activate your second machine, please open a support ticket.

Serp, as long as you have the option that Zarv described checked and the file output enabled under Configure -> Automation -> File Output, it will write to the file. Also check the option to perform automation tasks every threshold. Lastly, when you open the software, don't hit search or stop, just let it work and do its thing; otherwise the file won't write as you're hoping.

I have recently started using a new VPS and I will start up Proxy Multiply and it will be working fine but the next time I log into the VPS it has closed down.
I am sure I am using the same settings as before.
I checked your support section and help manual but couldn't find any suggestions.
Any ideas?
