I was homeless yesterday.

Yesterday I decided to leave my parents house and learn what its like to live out on my own. Since I don't have a ton of disposable income I had to go and live in a tunnel, the tunnel wasn't highly traveled so no one would find me sleeping there.

Later I went out to find some food, I scavenged in the woods and managed to find some berries I could eat for dinner. I went back to my tunnel when it started getting dark and I ate the berries i found for dinner, they didn't taste great but I still ate them since I was hungry.

When I woke up, I saw my parents looking for me. I waved at them and they rushed over. They told me "never run off and live on your own without telling us first" then we went back home.

That's my story guys, what i learned was.. when your homeless life is SO FUCKING SIMPLE. Nothing really seemed to matter to me other than the fact I wanted to survive.... All I could think of is how am I going to survive this.

After being homeless I feel like a changed man.

Once you get into a situation like that it opens your eyes. I think for a boy to become a man he should be sent out into the wild and forced to fend for himself.

For a day? I could pass a day doing fuck all over the local park. I am guessing it was more like 8 hours though, now you are a real man. LOL.

Thats for sure, but we dont live in ancient times. These days you can prove that you are real man, just by living good life, not to live on street and try to survive, mostly people who are homeless are the ones who failed to provide their main needs.
 
Thats kool that you tried being homeless for a day...I commend you for that.But you knew there was a chance you would be going back home so you wasn't truely homeless....You were more like sole searching for a change, which is kool.
 
I was homeless this afternoon. I went and sat down the bottom of the garden for ten minutes, it was great I turned my back on the world, it changed me for ever too.

Luckily I could nip into the house for a cup of tea and a pull of the pudding, but other than that I was in the shit, with the grunts, experiencing real life.

It was real it was really real. And I didn't have mummy and daddy to come and get me, so I had it tough and stuff, yours was just part time, amateur I was really in it man.
 
Did you also pack your cookies and milk in your school bag before you left to be homeless? Come on now be honest, I bet you did.
 
I seen stuff man.....I was there.... I got the stare and everything.

Every grunt in the shit has the stare.....shit you could have it too....if you spent ten minutes at the bottom of my garden

So when you woke up your parents just happened to be exactly where you camped out for the night?

I think you slept in your backyard OP, and I thought homeless people only ate pork n' beans? Did you make a barrel fire?

Seriously though, I hate seeing legitimately homeless people. They don't have a computer, they don't have internet, and they damn sure don't have their parents looking for them in the morning.

You weren't homeless for a day OP, you just weren't sleeping in your house.
 
dude spent the night in his backyard and was "homeless" lol
