Any advice for driving views for YouTube?

I don't understand this...

I did a video that got 1.2 million views in a week located here:
watch?v=bsBTuJP_3Ks&feature=channel_page


But I've loaded my newest video here and am trying to drive traffic:
watch?v=Lpxa_-u7Pao

I've done the same process...linked to forums, similar tags, etc.

Any advice?

That's what I can't figure out! I freely admit that I know a LITTLE about SEO, but with the other video, I literally just did some posts on car forums.

With this video, I did the same thing, but traffic is starting off slow.

The other video, according to YouTube Insight, actually did 1.4 million views in about 3 weeks, with 1.2 million coming in one week. What the heck?

I don't have a website for adult content or anything, so I drove the traffic from YouTube to ....nothing! It was a total waste of good traffic!

Teach me, oh wise ones.

The Bikini Driving School page was for a client that was paying me to film, edit and produce videos.

Now, I'm working on my own as a car and adult videographer who focuses on filming, editing and producing videos. However, for the car stuff, I make money only by selling advertising into the video...haven't figured out another way to monetize the content, so I guess I need educating.

Here is a tip on getting more views
If you have friend on youtube, share it with them, if you don't add some people and then share it
Bookmark the video to reddit.. theres a technique here somewhere in the forum that works great
Also to other bookmarking sites
I didnt get 1 mill like that but it could help

What do you mean by 'bookmarking to other sites?' what exactly should I search under here in this forum for?

searched for bookmarking, bookmarking is like adding a site to your "favorites" but it's online based favorites or "bookmarks" that everyone shares with everyone else. submitting your own stuff on these sites gives your content great backlinks, which is higher ranking in the serps, and gets the message out to other people.
you should search for bookmarking sites. hxxp://www.socialposter.com I believe has like 70+ bookmarking sites.

You need to monetize these vids... I haven't done any adult marketing , but I plan to.
Seriously with the amount of views you have on the first one you could have been rolling in the $$$. The first vid is a pr2 , I haven't checked the other one. But whatever linking strategies you did in the first helped to bump your video in rank.

Keep using bookmarking sites and link your video as many times as you can. Also you should think about optimizing your title and description with some more long tail keywords. Make a longer description and Google will start sending you a good amount of traffic based on your page rank.

You should also take a look at this thread, so you can learn how to backlink you videos together, causing you to get even more traffic from the search engines. Another thing I do after I get 5 or more comments is ping the page and rss feed. So your constantly telling the web you have freshly added content.

incentivize a site for nude photos of kim kardashian or something and then have the users fill out a CPA offer and watch the video 5 times before the javascript code unlocks the content.

Have them link their own URL and send to friends.

Should get about 200,000 views in first week

In this video (http://arborgroup.org/FreelistDownload/1.php) that jsurya shared with us, he talks about using the video response to get back links(which are ********). Well when you have a video that has some good page rank, like thecarguy has on the first video "Eurocrave:The Movie", you can back link a new video to that page and get credit for having a pr 2 linking to it.

Do this for a while using bookmarking sites to start it off, once you have like 5 to 10 videos with good pr, you will be able to link them together with the video response, pushing any new video you upload to the top of google easily.

Oh, and if you use a software like se nuke to submit you links to bookmarking sites, you will see your video move up whole lot faster then just submitting them manually. Se nuke is kinda expensive, but I think there are a few cracks around here.
