Depends on the vendor. Some vendors will contact CB and attempt to get you banned if you push a lot of spammy, bad quality traffic at their products. Others don't care as long as you're bringing in sales.

Better not spam your aff. links everywhere if you value your account. CB doesn't allow spamming.

Using your bare aff link is bad idea in the first place, and not the least for CB looking down on it. Just get yourself a simple WP on your own domain and cloak your links.

Yep, just click on promote and take your aff. link, and you can put it on your site/blog.

This is the best option, but you could also use a URL shortening service like goo.gl or bit.ly

Edit: Nevermind I just noticed that this question was asked last year and that someone else bumped the post, If there was some way for me to delete this post then I would do it as obviously the op already knows the answer by now.

In theory it would work as long as people buy the product you would get a commission. However some vendors may complain to clickbank, which would probably mean that your account would get banned. I for one wouldn't care if people were spamming the link as long as you are making sales which will only show better results when I report to my boss xD.

Yes, it does matter where you place your affiliate link. The best places to promote your affiliate link (which really should be placed on one of your own websites and promoted through that link) is on a relevant website with targeted traffic.

Cloak your links and plan on funneling traffic more than spam your link around to every person with chat rooms. Those people barely buy anything from a aff link sent to them. Most chat rooms are full of horney bald men.
