2 - work on publications: you need buzz, not just purchased 'likes' you can mostly find here.

Agreed, don't buy likes or plays because it won't do anything to help your cause.

It's either grow organically or get left in the dust, it's the only way to properly do it.

Either that or just pay your way to the top (features, shows, etc).
