Best way to monetize a chrome extension?

I have a chrome extension with 10000 daily pageviews (just started) from about 1000 users. What is the best method to monetize this traffic? Are there any popup ad networks which allows browser extension traffic? Any input will be highly appreciated.

Honestly the most common and easiest way is going to be a donate button like carepolice said but you could also even try the CPA networks that let your people do surveys so you get paid if they can't afford to donate it just takes a few minutes and they are helping support you! Hope this help a little more!!

Also try Flattr, I doubt you will get many donations but at least if they have Flattr and their money is already spent then you might get a much higher percentage of people donating through there then you would through say Paypal. Also, doge coin, ltc and btc.

There are many methods monetize browser extension: Affiliate links, Pinned banner, In-page banners, Intext Ads, etc. All depends on your audience, country, amount of your active users, etc.

It depends what kind of an extension it is IMO. Is it possible to make premium paid version with some additional features?

To begin, I would advise affiliate links, for example:

Pages looks equally, links "iPhone 6 Plus" also looks equally, but in the second case you earn money.

I agree with sergey. The problem is you might have some problem when you will have to explain your source of traffic to amazon/ebay etc etc.

Many extensions just replace publisher ads with their own. Freaks me out, but I guess it is an option.
