Hey BHW,

A lot of you guys like to do local SEO for your clients, and a key part of this is local citations. I have complied a list of 200 local citation websites of all niches. Most of them are US based, but still a great list to use for high quality local link building.

Do citation sites/directories still work? I thought G said they no longer pay attention to those.

It's primary use is local citations, so when you mention a local area in the web page Google will understand that the target link is for a specific location, making you rank higher in those specific areas. Also for offline businesses, its great for 3rd party validation, they often rank highly naturally.
