Verified page with 200 likes ???? HOW ?

i came across this page one facebook that has 200 likes the weird thing is that it has the "verified" badge !!
can someone explain this please ?? is there a new way to get your page verified or what ??

May be because she is a popular author. Check google. Some news websites apparently have written articles on her.

Remove url of page, as it will be your fault if page is removed, also reported to mod, so he can do if you fail

And why cant official and real user , as here author verify his apge so FB knows he is the one and only guy like that, so other wannabies stay away.

If you a celebrity or well known personality,then its very mush possible to verify even 100 likes page..

I know few peeps who got VERIFIED badge at their pages. All of them are pages around NEWS/MEDIA website. Check that page you are talking about and check if the page is a NEWS/MEDIA website. If its the case, so yeah, news and media website pages are getting verified once in a while . This is just my analysis though.

Please use common sense when submitting your Facebook Fan Page for Verification using the form.
Ask yourself the following questions:

• Is your Facebook page the official presence of a popular brand or celeb?
• Is your Facebook page currently or has a high chance of being impersonated?
• Does your Facebook page have a large audience? (i.e. 20k+ Fans)
• Is the page in question running Facebook ads? (may not be necessary but I believe it provides extra leverage if you are)
