I will be attempting to absorb tons and tons of information that you all kindly share and then report back on what works. Hopefully I can guide someone as I am positive you all will guide me being a rookie, so I appreciate any help beforehand!
I have been gifted by a pro in your realm, databases of a few niches... Dating is the first I want to attack. It's a bit life changing I think as I see how resourceful many of you are that convert simple emails. I am completely new to this realm and really have no clue where to start other than read and read and read and search and read.
So I have an email list. I also have a start-up in the dating realm. I have set a 50% profit share with the company based on my list. What is the best route for me to use my list but also have each email to conversion tracked. This company is a start up and I am it's only email list.
So far my idea is Aweber or setting up a smtp off one of my servers. Crafting an email where I can see click open rate and then have a simple link to track that the email I sent to verify if they click buy. Am I close? If I am not please rip me up! I am at day 1 here.
I bet many of you are wondering why I don't ask my boy who gifted the emails... we are good friends and I want to surprise him with an enormous gift back. I have watched many people take advantage of him and being one who never has, I think you understand why I was gifted them and why I want to surprise him with a huge gift as payback... it's how I roll.
