Theme for authority website

Hey blackhat'ers,
What theme would you suggest for Wordpress authority website? I was about to get Convergence theme (which is used in matthewwoodward blog), but it's no longer in sale. Anyone using something similar? Currently my top one is: http://themeforest.net/item/warta-n...9?WT.ac=category_thumb&WT.z_author=friskamax# but I am not sure if it will load fast and won't be so laggy. Also support is taking too long to answer.

I'm in the middle of creating a theme to sell on Themeforest, if you like it I can send you the files for free - but it's not finished, the theme options don't work at the moment and the responsiveness needs some improvement; it has WP Bakery built in and is similar to Matthews theme, eventually I want to add an option to have small square featured images instead of big ones but this isn't hard to do if you prefer it

Get a dedicated server, optimize loading time, and you shouldn't have problems.
