Anyone here into Bitcoin mining and making a profit?

so, bitcoins doesn't work for making money?
Can't we automate the system and earn bitcoins?

Unless you're a trader or offer a Bitcoin service... in the longterm, no.

But if you have the means and capital to re-invest in hardware, it could be.

not wanting to burst your bubbles but bitcoin will crash, you can already see the $300 crash, a currency is only valid and useful as long as certain institutions support its trade, the current news stream are not running in favor of bitcoins, you can look into other coins which are cheap atm like FTC, PPC https://btc-e.com/exchange/ppc_usd

You have a point in there, but the more will crash, the more will rise after. There are tons of people hoping and manipulating the whole media, just to turn it back and forth like waves. Focus on the other coins. See you in 2 years :)

Why not just earn Bitcoins through freelancing or other IM? There are affiliate programs that pay in BTC, and Fiverr-clones like forbitcoin or bittask that pay in Bitcoin. Set up a freelance site to promote your services, saying you accept BTC.

The way to understand it is to not obsess over the value of BTC week to week, as the longer term trend is for the currency to grow (e.g., nobody expects BTC to ever go back to being only $10 apiece). Just say "I'll do the job for $20, paid in (the closest fraction of) BTC." The value will grow from there, over months and years.

those who are selling bitcoin rigs are the people making real gold those buying are like thousands who came to US for digging gold only few got it and thousands became slave

If want to mine don't mine bitcoins, mine litecoins. Get an amd r9 290x you'll be able to mine 1 litecoin a day ($25) The difficulty of litecoin is much lower than that of bitcoin.

im not into mining, but read the thread by curiousity. just want to remark that the bitcoin currency has no real institution behind that is accepted by lots of states, i read that france and other states want to start getting people to court for not having paid taxes when earning bitcoins - and that the currency itself would not be managed by an official institute, might be high risky to crash, might be dangerous for -real- currencies if much investment is made etc,... and so on.. you have to be also aware of government decisions and media hype against btc.

interesting,
1 thing that is not so good about bitcoin is the price change so much so fast that if 2 people agree on price then you pay them the same day the other person might think you waited to long and demand more bitcoin

Being in the day trading practice for awhile now. Even if Bitcoin goes down (BUY MORE). Until the gov does something to stop the freedom of anonymous currecy...they will survive.

Like Stocks= buy low and sell high, I feel day trading would be the real winner to make cash. But you cannot buy patience, and you cannot sell fear.

Cheers

Bitcoin mining is dead. So keep it away from your head. Think about something else. Like bitcoin trading. It is much more profitable than BTC mining.
