Churm & Burn - Good idea?

Hi guys! I'm thinking about churm and burn method on my money site (hacks niches). I've got 1 year old domain and 50% of hacks are in top 20 on google.

I want to buy a 2 years old domain with 185k backlinks and make 301 redirect to my site. Is any risk to penalty from google?

I get big boost to my site for a while or for one month for example? If I my boost will go down, can I make redirect to another site and my site will be at normal place or on the bottom of google?

That's not really a "churn and burn" method, that's just using a 301 redirect.

Any time you use 301 redirects you are at risk of getting slapped by Google. How much of a boost you get will depend on how strong the domain you are redirecting to your money site is.

If for whatever reason your main site does get penalized, you can remove the 301 redirect and redirect that to a new site and you should get a boost again.

In your case though I would just try to find some private blog network links, I think that will bring you better results.

Anywhere from a couple of weeks till never.

Agreed. There is always the risk of being slammed by google using a 301 redirect, so you have to ask yourself whether the risk is worth it.

I was getting excited about some info on the Chrun and Burn.... Anyone have any luck with it? I have been wanting to try it but not sure how fast it will stay up and burn too fast to tell. Any stories or advice?
