Keyword Density for phrases?

I'm still not too familiar with this concept when it comes to long tail phrases.

I've read a few threads on here that say to try and get 1%-2% keyword density but the examples given were for general phrases like "lose weight" or "payday loans"

If I target let's say "Losing weight in a month with weights" does the keyword density still have to be within the 1%-2% area or can it be lower?
I ask because a lot of the articles on my site have around 0.5% kw density due to not being able to fit the phrase anywhere else without it sounding weird.

thetre is no perfect percentage, just write the most natural way... you can still can try to tweak some of your phrases... however, as soon as you have your keywords in title, meta description headlines.... it's okay...

keyword density is not the most important factor of ranking....

There may not be a perfect percentage but .5 is too low (unless you are talking about multi word phrases), your whole article will be unfocused more than likely, or the article is not targeting the keyword you think it is.

How awkward is the phrase you are targeting, if it is not a term that flows well in speech are you sure it is an action term? Are you building an adsense site?

yea an Adsense site. For example the kw I'm targeting is "losing weight in a week fast". That phrase has a 0.5% density. However I'm able to use other kws related to is such as losing weight fast, losing weight, lose weight in a week. Is that sufficient of should I try getting more of my main phrase in there?

Just use the longtails in an H2 tag, with a little related content under that h2 tag and you will be fine.

That density for a 6 word phrase is fine.

For longer tail keywords, 0.5 may be fine. Best way to tell is to check out the competition, whats their % density and how do they get that in. Match and then beat them to claim #1

Will it help if you mix not-so-high-density long tail keywords with higher density head keywords on your page? Can that increase your ranking?

Have the whole long tail or most of the long tail in the title and url, and have it once in the content. Write naturally on the topic of the long tail, add an image with a title/description with part of the long tail and maybe an on topic YT vid.

That is all.

No need to worry about densities anymore (unless your spamming). Its not 2011 anymore.

Just write down on natural and mentioned more subtitles and call to action title. And then mention twice LSI on post. Listing target near by 50,000 searches on SERP.

I think you should stop worrying about the exact % of density and just write naturally and make it look great, most of the thing about the density is just speculation anyway, for some is higher, for some is lower.
