using pictures from any website or google

i want to ask if i can use pictures from some other website or google?
i have read about the copy right thing but i m sure most of people are using a lot of pictures. Can i use these cool images to make my posts or is there anyways i can make pictures unique by cropping or adding frames?

Sure. You only will have problem with copyrighted content once you start making money by someone else rights. For example, if you take a picture that doesn't belong to you and start selling to third-parties.

Make sure to have a contact form in your website and allow the owners of the pictures to contact you if they want to a image to be taken down.

Sure, 99% of the time the owner will ask to remove the picture before they take you to court.

Everyone has their own preferred way of credit.. some want a link under the image, some want you to quote them at the end... some want you to link the photo to their site etc.

The easiest and safest way is to quote them underneath the photo, I've never seen anyone complain about that!

I didn't knew about that. I usually spend a lot of time searching on google with creative commons on.

It can depend on the image you want to take, though most will say you shouldn't it's not a go to jail thing. When you find an image you like, just use google to see if that image is on any other site, if it's on many different domains you should be quite safe, if it's only on that site, if you want to be safe, you can credit that site with a link, if they don't like it they can contact you later.

It is still breaking copyright law even if you're not selling anything if you don't have the written permission of the owner. You can use the work for educational purposes if it doesn't make up the large majority of the work. Giving credit at the end, even if you don't post a link is always a good idea because at that point you can play off that you didn't intentionally break copyright and it's not very beneficial for them to sue. If you knowingly break copyright they can sue you for a ton more. It is not likely they will sue if you don't monetize the website or a money site you point to from the blog site but there are plenty of sites out there that supply copyright free images that will keep you safe. Just google "morgue images." Believe me, once you start making money other people will try and find an easy way to take it from you.

Finally someone with a brain.

If you use images or any intellectual property without permission, the owner of that property can get your site closed down for DCMA or bill you their standard rates for the images.

If you do not pay they can sue you (if you get a Getty image they will sue you).

And they will win.

It is part of their business plan and they make millions a year just from people who think like everyone on this thread but you and I.

Intentionally breaking copyright doesn't have a limit to how much you can get sued. Unintentional breaking of a copyright has a max of $5000 due to the owner per instance, so yes it does make a difference.
