I have ghostsurf...fully paid version. I like it but unless I haven't figured it out yet, you can't chose to renew your ip/identity. Plus, it's a limited number of ips that you get. I'd say for bh purposes, i'd rate it a 5 out of 10. I like tor a little better.

When I use ghost surf, I can't even get into craigs. I would say find something else. tor is free and works better although craigs is getting tougher and tougher all the time.

Yes, you can change IPs by simply closing the program and then re-opening it. GS has a ton if IPs but you need to read the "Help" to figure out how to use them properly.

I like it as for me it is fast and easy to use. I tried Tor once and my box almost melted down along with my brain.

try hide-my-ip*com its very good for changing proxies to usa, uk etc, worth a look, i can change my proxie every 1 minute using this when posting on craigslist, just set the software and forget about it, works a treat, its about 29 bucks, but to get the full benefit, join their subscription for loads of different ips that you can use, i think if i remember right, i pay 8 to 10 bucks per month for additional ips, try them.......

best one ive seen so far imo is called proxyswitcher. it goes and finds hundreds of new proxies and lets you select which one you want to use and can sort by speed, county, etc. it can also let you set it to randomly switch your ip by certain time intervals and lots of other cool features.

if you are looking for something to post on craigs with, i would say dialup would be the quickest option. as you dont have to find proxies (craigs has pretty much banned all proxy services out there anyway)

some people have great success with tor, but i personally haven't had any luck with it at all for just surfing the web, haven't ever tried posting on craigs with it though...

with dialup you get a new ip every time you connect and great success with your ads showing up as well...

nah, tor pretty much sucks for CL. it wont work for most people, but it seems to work for a select few people, but for the most part if you can get it to work consider yourself one of the lucky ones

Use it with a FF proxy plugin (I use FoxyProxy) and have Tor/Privocy working in the background. For me, bandwidth has been very good. If you run a server, you should be running this, and have some of it exposed to be part of the onion network.

Why not just change your IP? You can do this even with a cable connection. You just need to change your MAC address, then reset your modem. Instant new IP.
