Last hour getting subscribed to thread emails.

Step 1: Go to Settings -> General Settings and set "Default Thread Subscription Mode" to "Do not subscribe".
Step 2: Go to Settings -> Subscriptions and delete all unwanted subscriptions. I deleted all of them.

This is the best quick fix.

This is just them talking about getting it to send... not stopping it from randomly sending.

I tried this. set my settings to not subscribe. I emptied my entire subscription folder and I am still getting the emails.

This has now been sorted, guys.


To see all the threads you are subscribed to:

1. Log in with your account and click on "Settings" (found top right) look down the left hand side and click on subscriptions (under "my subscriptions")

2. Select the threads you no longer want to receive notifications for (note there is an option top right under subscriptions to select all). Go to the bottom of the page and click on "selected threads" from there you can update your subscriptions.

THEN

Still under settings - go to my settings - general settings - on this page under "default subscription mode" take your pick select how you will be notified of any future threads you post on.

Follow these directions and you can receive the notifications as you want them.

Thanks for the comments cookie1979 can you forward one of the emails you are receiving to support (at) blackhatworld.com referencing this thread and we will look into it for you. From logs we can see that you removed your subscriptions yesterday so you shouldn't receive any more notifications for subscribed threads. .

I don't have it setup to do that in my settings though -- but lately I have been getting a bunch of them all within an hour of each other...

I strongly recommend all to view this post on how to edit the threads you have subscribed to in the past and how to edit your post subscription methods (there is an option to auto follow anything you post on).
