Google Keyword tool, Is there an alternative?

Hello fellow members,

I miss the old days where i could just log-in to the google keyword tool to learn how many searches a keyword gets.

I need a program that could do this for me, ive tried "wordtracker" but that uses a 3.4b searches to more or less give you a percentage of how many of these 3.4b searched that specific keyword.

Is there any tool out there that i could use to check the searches and competition to an exact matter?

It's called Keyword Planner, I think you can login with a regular Gmail account. If you want something more advanced and paid, Keyword Snooper and if you don't mind spending even more money (and need the features), then Long Tail Pro.
