My honest review:
First of all, both pages are now cached in Google (when using the cache: command but strangely not when using the site: command yet) so as far as that goes it's a thumbs up I guess.
As for the actual content produced, my biggest disappointment was with the length of these articles - combined they were less than 400 words and I was hoping for considerably more than that given the price.
Secondly, the quality of the content wasn't amazing - I certainly wouldn't consider it Examiner standard and I'd have preferred the option to write it myself as I know I could have put together a more relevant and better structured article for each site. I'd imagine it didn't take more than 20 minutes to knock out both articles since they were so short.
Overall I'm a little undecided about this service and if I had my chance again I'd probably ask more questions and get more assurances before I ordered - the length is the main issue for me but an indexed link is an indexed link I suppose.

Thanks for the honest review, Steve. Sorry the content was not up to your standards. The Examiner and Medium articles will receive no traffic. They are for no-follow banklink purposes only. In case you were wondering!

I was fully aware that the links were nofollow but I don't agree that an article on Examiner doesn't have the potential to rank and receive traffic. In fact, Google patents show that links from pages that already rank for your chosen keyword are far more valuable in the grand scheme of things than those that don't so if done right, this service could have helped achieve this by ranking a high quality article on Examiner which would give ranking benefit regardless of the nofollow tag.
In your email to me you suggested that this is the cheapest Examiner link around but cheap does not always mean best!
