I'm in talks with a dropshipper right now and payment will be WU or Wire Transfer. I've never dealt in either. What are some ways I can be assured he won't scam and my product will be good to go? Obviously there is no 100% Guartee, but I'm looking for tips.

People tend to learn the hard way about the efficacies about transacting via Western Union but hopefully someone will explain it in specific terms of dropshipping in a way that I am unable.

Wire transfer offers a better paper trail generally but even then it depends on the destination account being pukka. It's all very well having a paper trail to an account but so what if the account has been opened with fake ID?

Swings....
Roundabouts....
Circles...
etc...

Let me tell you what the best comfort you can give yourself- your own judgement.

If that proves bad then you've learnt something about your own judgement.

It's often worth learning the hard way to be honest.

haha the response I feared most! I like to have some backing before I head into such financial risk, but the best I can do I guess is ask to see the inventory on camera etc and talk to other clients.

Sorry old chap.

You might guess I learnt the hard way albeit that was twelve years ago.

Good luck and perhaps someone more positive than me will be along soon.

why would a bank blacklist people lol, you must have been naughty eh?

anyway, if you do not trust this guy, dun work with him. I usually start partnership after a chat or a few chats to understand the other party better, but of course, nothing can be 100%. So you can really only rely on your own judgement.

Next thing is, if its a new business partner, you might want to start small then scale it up. Do not jump into the moon straight away, what's goes higher falls harder.

You definitely ought to transact via wire transfer.

I r banned from WU 4 lyfe.

Even when I had a pretty decent track record with them.

do not use western Union. There not protected and easy to get ripped off

I lost $550 from a a fake China wholesales supplier using Western Union

Never ever again.

Like others said, you're just going to have to use your own judgment. I've sent western union and have no problems. You just have to do your research on the individual and see what's up.

Imo you shouldn't be entering this dropshipping/wholesale game if you're not prepared to lose money. It's the nature of the game you play. Like someone else said start small only send a couple hundred bucks initially and then go up from there as you build more trust

western union blows! i just got black listed there and cant send money anymore!
I send a lot of western unions. I pick up a few too. If you dont mind me asking, what does one do to get black listed? You cant send them, but can you pick them up?

You can get blacklisted and banned forever from Western Union by sending or receiving to much money.

To avoid getting blacklisted never ever send or receive $1,000 or more within 24 hours.
