Looks like your sales are picking up, let's see if it's a spike or a new plateau. Might be the keywords took some time to update in Amazon search engine.
Hey nice thread! I have a question though, do you have to format kindle books to amazons specific requirements or can you simply just upload it how you've written it in word?
Another quickie fruchtwein, if I include bullet points in my word file will they show up in my Kindle book? I've heard ppl on other forums say that Kindle has a problem with bullet points, is this still true?
Danke sehr Fruchtwein!
Are your current accounts using the same check address with the two lost accounts? Do you reuse the book from lost account on new account?

A great first month nevertheless, especially if you can scale it up some more before saturating the niche.
A great first month nevertheless, especially if you can scale it up some more before saturating the niche.
Saturation is definitely not going to occur with this market. As of right now there are over 126,800 books in the erotica category right now. Shorts are meant to sell a few copies a month, not breakout 50 Shades of Grey success. Spend a few hours writing, fuck editing it, and just pump em out. Load up the smutcannon.
If you have 50 stories but only sell 1 copy of each a month, hell that's $100 if you get $2 royalties on each.
Are you also having writers create more stories, or just working with the amount you started with. Any bundling yet?
Also how many pen names are you working now? Are you dividing your books evenly throughout names? Grouping in niches so readers can check the backlog of books to order more.

I don't know if this has been asked before, but can you insert your 3rd party affiliate links into Kindle books? And another little snippet that I picked up the other day was that Amazon are considering stopping books with a word count less that 2,500 words for quality purposes, is this true???
