Well this is my first post so hello everyone. Im currently working on two products in the health/fitness niche. One is an app, and the other is a physical product. The physical product is going to require molds that are going to cost thousands of dollars of which I dont have, and im going to be running a crowdfunding campaign to get the funding i need.
The mobile app is going to hopefully be very cheap because my friend is going to be developing it. The app provides good value I believe, and im going to be giving it away for free.
Now heres the problem. I wont see a dime until I drive traffic to the app, and i wont see a dime from the product unless I drive enough converting traffic to be able to produce the product.
So my big problem is traffic. Im building up accounts on instagram currently, and im about to get a bot to automate the process. I also have accounts on fitness forums that I have built up an ok reputation over the years. I have very little cash left so im trying to get these going with as little cash as possible. My conversions for my site so far are a little more than 1% and i believe i can get them to around 3-6% even then im still going to need visitors by the hundreds of thousands. So what course of action would you take if you were in this situation? Im also planning on cross promoting the product through the app, and the app through the website, so the app is basically my lead magnet. Advice on what you would do would be much appreciated.
