How long does it take before negative SEO shows results if 250k links are blasted with the same keyword anchor text?

You not good enough to rank your own site so you think a fiverr gig offering 250k links for neg SEO will help you get above your competitor?

17 days, 3 hrs, and 12 minutes.

How long is a piece of string?

And 52 seconds. You have to be more specific dude! :p

/sarcasm

Well OP, I think it should catch up as soo as Google gets your backlinks in their index. It might take 1 hour or it could take 6 months.

I saw a website "surviving" blast for about 6 months and then it dropped.

In some other niche that i am observing i saw 3 website were attacked in March. Majestic SEO shows about 15k backlinks. All blasted with same anchor text with scrapebox. They are still at same place today. They might drop with new penguin update.

Its impossible to know exactly how long but i suppose if you really wanted to improve your chances then just ping the fuck out of the links.

It's bad enough G doesn't want us to rank now so many hatters are turning on each other. its very sad.

I've been NEG SEO'n 1 site extremely aggressively for the last 6 months. I've built over 4 million of the crappiest, most overoptimized links you can imagine.

As of today this site still ranks #1 for all the same keywords. And this is a local site. It's competitive for a local niche but generally speaking it's not a competitive niche at all.

So if you ask me, right now I'm thinking 1 of 2 things -

1) NEG SEO is just a bs myth and doesn't actually work.
2) ORRR, it just takes a super long time to accomplish. Like 6 months - 2 years.

I plan on keeping my campaigns going for another 6 months. But if the site doesn't lose ranks within 1 year of spamming the crap out of it, then I'll never attempt NEG SEO again. It's simply not worth the time compared to just ranking sites on my own. Which I already do. I'm just targeting 1 specific site for fraud and scamming (which has been documented both on tv and in court).

The way this question is worded it is clear you have tried to neg someone else.

It's annoying seeing questions like this, but at least we know you are useless and therefore can't be earning much money.

Negative SEO does exist. This should be intuitively obvious as since you can tank your own site with crappy links then you can tank others.

Whether it works or not depends on how strong the site is in terms of backlink profile.

Once a site has passed a certain "authority threshold", negative SEO becomes impossible. It's probably built in to the algorithm somehow.

That's why you can tank some crappy affiliate site, but you won't be able to do jack squat to something like Wikipedia.

Do you have any guesses as to what the authority threshold would have to be to not be affected by negative SEO? Obviously you are not going to take down Amazon, Netflix, YouTube, Google etc with negative SEO. But it would be good to know if our own sites are vulnerable at PR 5 or PR 6.

This post and the talking points you keep repeating on other posts reek of Google PR....

You spammed and you were unsuccessful, neg seo doesn't work, we make money "thanks to google"(http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...words-immediately-demoted-organic-search.html).... Who you think you're fooling pal?

I am glad you posted this. It gives me a clear indication of the people I need to put on ignore and never do business with because they have no business ethics.

Neg SEO will not work on a strong site and Google is getting better at spotting it, and ignoring it. A properly done Local site iis completely impervious to it. I had someone run 500,000+ Russian porn links, Viagra, and assorted other links at one of my customers, and it did nothing to the site at all..

But it does show the lack of integrity and lack of imagination that an IM'er has, and in the case of some of the people in this post, it's as pathetic as they are.

The good thing is that all these people who should be trying to beat me out of my rankings are just wasting their money and time trying for the fast buck, instead of trying to out do those of us who deal with the bad and move on.

You know what I think is funny, Google always has people running around wasting their time on gaming "ranking factors", so Google can pull the rug right out from under them. Its like they do it on purpose to keep them out of the way. Like an annoying child you give a video game to occupy their little minds until their mom gets back.

Think of article marketing alone, people spend countless hours and money on article marketing, instead of on their own site. They spent, spun, and spammed, and all for naught.

They spammed forum profiles, blog comments, guest posting, press releases, everything they can, and today they waste their time and resources on neg SEO.

I know some people made money with churn and burn using these now ineffective methods, (my hat's off to those) but most blackhatters never rank anything, they just run the treadmill.

Thank you OP, BreakinBrix (a name foreshadowing of future events, mayhaps?), I appreciate you showing your true colors. Don't bother responding, you're on ignore.

BB, imagine how much better off you would be if you had simply found one quality high authority domain to get a link from each week for the last 6 months.
