Market for Ray-Ban sunglasses?

OK guys, It seems this thread has no decended into a fake product thread. There is no information available at the moment to say they are fake. I will be in touch with the seller this week and I will update you all then with the required info/lists/prices, whatever you need. You have to understand that all deals, should there be any, will be made through PayPal where you will pay as a service so you will have your complete protection and can dispute the payment should anything be wrong. When I meet him this week if I see anything shoddy about this setup I will get out of it myself. I don't want any problems with the members of BHW and I don't want any problems with my PayPal account. It just doesn't make sense that I would come here to ''scam'' people. I am trying to help and build a reputation and I am not going to allow anything to tarnish that. I just came across this opportunity recently and thought I would share it with you guys here. So, in closing, when I know more info then you will but don't be so quick to call scam on this before you have seen anything bar a couple of pictures of the product.
 
I have dealt with RayBan sunglasses for long and even have sold hundreds of them on ebay. I could get AAA quality for approx $18-20. The quality is such that no one can make out any difference with the original one. I even took that to a rayban showroom and they even could not make out the difference ;)
So better saying it genuine, call it AAA quality.

P.S. Not trying to hijack the thread but posted here to make people aware of the difference. Probably. The OP has similar source that I have. Though I get them for approx $20.
 
Also, the only way the difference can be noticed is by using it. That too a person who uses RayBan on a regular basis. The AAA gives 60-70% comfort as compared to the original one. The person who regularly uses a RayBan will easily spot the difference.
 
Wow, sounds interesting Ray-Ban for $12.

My friend, if the quality is 100% Ray-Ban, then there will be huge potential.
If you get it around that price, then I'm sure you will make big profit.

They control the entire distribution chain from manufacturer to retail.

And you get them " legit" from China for $12? Fuck off.

Blackhat doesn't mean scammer/cracker. Go home child.
 
If people haven't figured out the scam yet OP is trying to drum up business so he can afford his first minimum order of fake sunglasses from China.

Who mentioned China?!? Also I am at home... Now what? Also watch your language. Being a donor doesn't give you a right to throw accusations around and use bad language. You say there is a scam with no proof. Also don't double post. Use the edit button.

So anyway with that said for the real people in this thread who are polite and interested I would like to give you an update.

I was talking to the supplier today and he told me the base cost he can sell them to me is $86. Seems I was on a false promise with the $12 price. *awaits yourmoneybutton to jump on that*. So yes $86 is the price + profit + shipping. I will keep my profit at about $5 or $10 depending on quantity ordered to try and keep the price low for you guys. I make money with other projects online so profit here isn't hugely important for me.

So, let me know what you think guys and if you would still be interested. As stated before more info coming during the week and I will get documentation to show they are legit. As I said if there is anything scammy about it I will run away from it myself.
 
why would you go into business with someone told you false promises and lied to you about prices?

$5-10 profit on quantity ordered sounds terrible IMO. on $100-500 glasses like raybans you could probably make more selling 1 pair through an affiliate link.

Bit of extra cash so why not? The 5 or 10 is fine for me. Just some pocket money. Maybe you guys here can profit big.

Here is an update for you guys. As you can see official box and everything else is there. Also, to add to above comments there is no minimum order here that I am waiting to place. I can order as little as just 1 if I like.

They're not genuine loxotica would not sell them for $12.
