refunding $0.01 on paypal

if you refund 1 cent to someone whose payment is being held by paypal does it remove the hold? I remember seeing something like that on here but I'm not sure if it has been fixed or if it was for something else.

it does for now and I'm pretty sure it won't work for long since people keep talking aboutt it. And paypal is limiting accounts that do this.

This was mentioned in my thread, "PayPal Hack? Yes! Get Your Money Off Pending Status Immediately". It was in the Making Money section, but was moved to the Jr. VIP, section. Yes, this does still work, and it still works well. However, it is slowly becoming used more and more often, so use it sparingly. Also, know that it stops the refund that any buyer may want, as the partial refund is considered the same. PayPal is not limiting accounts solely based on this that I know of.

OMG I still cannot believe how something like this even got to JrVIP at such a forum as BHW. It makes me wanna cry... This trick has been all over eBay forums known by everyone... lmao I cannot be bothered to search eBay forums for the older posts but some new posts from March and April even mention the 1p refund trick.
