hello fellow blackhatters,

Quick question, can you download a video off youtube and edit it and promote it on your channel? i know it sounds stupids because ofcourse you cant. but im asking if you can do a twist or change something in the video so that you will be able to monetize it and youtube doesnt bann you.

like writing the resources in the description box, or stating at the beginning of the video that this video belongs to x guy?

thats not a wise thing as the real owner will report you pretty quickly and YT will delete/ban you

Nobody will answer you right as you dont have balls to make your own vids.

Check out youtube's fair use policy. It may help you. Ripping off the video completely and re-uploading always poses a risk even if you edit it, change frequency or do whatever.

what about uploading it to another video service like daily motion?
also if the owner of the video did not post it and someone else posted it in his personal channel? like i make a personal video and my friend posts it on his channel just for the fun.

You can upload on dailymotion, but then you cannot monetize that video with adsense. Dailymotion and other video sites are good for bringing in an extra traffic to your website which in turn can be monetized with adsense or even better selling products.
I don't think there will be an issue uploading other's video since it is originally being uploaded to your channel, but then again if the owner of that video doesn't want the video to be on youtube, he can always report your video and get it removed.

You can act as a reporter, and "report" newsworthy and interesting content on copyrighted material, such as you see new channels, and tv programs do. Its all about making something different from the original.

adsense sucks they have an extremely low payout. Dailymotion has a way better monetization program called dailymotion official look into it. The problem is getting traffic to dailymotion it take constant re-uploading of your same videos to make some money

You can in theory. But I don't know about using ad sense, etc. The problem is YT will be able to notice it is the same video unless you appreciably alter it. Also unless the original has horrible titling, description, and tags the original will probably rank higher and your video will be stuck in the back pages and not the first page. But if the video has crappy titles and tags and you change it a bit in theory you could do better.

I would stay away from doing this to independents and people who self publish content. But for TV show clips and stuff generally you can get away with it since the original YT publisher probably doesn't own the content anyway.

Yes you can. Are you looking for a tool to do it for you? Because YT downloader is the best I know of. It's free and very fast. You just copy and paste 1 link after another after another and I've ripped entire accounts doing that. However, I don't use the tool to rip and repost other peoples content. I use it on crime stories like 48 hours videos when I find good episodes I want to watch later that I know YT is gonna delete. So before YT gets to them, I download them to my harddrive so I can watch them at a later date. And I just delete the videos when I'm done.

You can figure out types of videos where you can fly under the radar, but a lot of the videos actually have different licenses. Some are straight up OK to copy. I forget how you find out, I think I saw it in the API somewhere.
