Hi BHW. I don't know how reliable this source of domains is but they do sell .com's at $4.99 (including FREE whois protection) with a coupon code URL.
They state that the renewal price is the same but I think it may be $7.75 which ain't bad. They accept PayPal etc. Anyway here is the URL:

Not much to say... Usually people are comfortable with a preferred registrar they have and are uncomfortable to shift for a couple dollars per domain. It could be too good to be true

True say. I only register my domains at NameCheap. They are great and no GoDaddy discounts or offers are going to take me away from them. I like NameCheap because it's all nice, easy and simple. GoDaddy doesn't really keep the domains secure with you, I've heard of multiple stories where GoDaddy has taken domains away from people just like that.

internet.bs have been fine for me so far. No problems with a few domains.

Unfortunately the special of $4.99 is per account, if I'm not mistaken.

I found them by looking up domains at domain lazy.

can not confirm this - i always receive numerous e-mails from godaddy
that my domain xxx.com is expiring soon and that i have to renew it.
but internet.bs seems to be worth a try.
