Hey guys this is my first post and I hope it hasn't been answered before buuuttttt..... when I compare my downloads from the place they are uploaded to the installs that revenyou is reporting, they are extremely different. On my upload site I am getting four times the amount of downloads than revenyou is claiming even start my install. Are people just downloading my file and then not installing it at all? I doubt 75% of people are doing this. I did change the file name as well as the installer so there is nothing to give it away until they install. This leads me to believe that revenyou is not showing a large percentage of installs. Some of which might even be successful. Any ideas on this? Oh and before you say it, I am NOT downloading my own file and trying to trick revenyou.
I have the same problem here and was wondering this too; when I check my traffic and the amount of people who download the file the amount is way larger than the amount of people who start the install. It seems unlikely to me that people would download the file and then not even try to install it.

I think its because antivirus avast or any other doesn't let download any revenyou files without disabling antivirus software

I usually rar or zip the file so it will download anyways

It's very weird. What I think is people getting too smart and they don't install all the toolbars and stuff.

@ Dorfas: was just wondering how'd it work for you? like incorporating amonetize and revenyou at the same time.. was actually thinking of doing the same thing since I'm only using revenyou now but have always thought it would be great to hit 2 piggybanks with 1 stone.. I never tried it though.. are you getting successful installs on both PPI networks for 1 installer?
1. You need to download Revenyou installer and upload the *.exe file to file hosting (file hosting must have option to direct link to .exe file for starting auto download) or host installer on your own hosting.
2. Copy the hosted Revenyou *.exe file link
3. Go to Amonetize-->Download Manager find the "Product installer download URL" field and paste there the link of hosted Revenyou .exe installer.
4. Shorten with any URL shortener the Amonetize downloader generated link, because it will be very long.
In this way the user at first will download the Amonetize downloader and after the Amonetize downloader will finish to download and install of some adware and other toolbars, it will download the hosted Revenyou .exe installer which will automatically start their apps download and install process (some adware + other legit toolbars). And you (if user will accept toolbars install) will get 2 leads for both PPI networks (Amonetize + Revenyou) for one download. This method is working, I already using it, and getting installs for both PPI networks.

It's a little off topic but how much you earn from this method.
BTW I think revenyou does shave your installs.I am happy with amonetize at the moment,hope they do pay.
Till now using this method I have earned:
Amonetize: ~600$ (~2900 installs)
Revenyou: ~570$ (~2800 installs)

@dorfas: thanks mate! damn your banking big time man.. actually I already have around 2500 installs for the month of may but the total is $140, which is damn low considering the number of installs and US as the main country with most installs.. I'm using Revenyou but it definitely has a big difference with the result you have for 2800 installs.. Guys at Revenyou, told me though that they've been lowering their rates due to the change of Advertisers but soon will be back up with better rates. But still, I wish I'd get paid at least close to your earnings.

With Revenyou I have 71% Completed Installs out of ~4000
Sometimes I use the /S, and sometimes /VERYSILENT commands. I just making installer with one command, and if I see that there is very low number of toolbar installs, I editing installer to other command. To say truly, I even don't know if these commands helps with toolbars installs. I think that it is more for the dialogs where you need to click Start Downloader, NEXT, INSTALL and etc. Because for toolbars install need first to accept install them and you can't make accept them automatically, because it will be not legal to install toolbars without user acknowledgment and also you can be banned from PPI networks (Legal ones) for doing this.

There are mainly two reasons why your downloads are low
1. Chrome blocking the downloaded file even if it is zip or rar. It read inside the compressed file.
2. Even if the user get passed from chrome blocking (if downloaded through other browsers) then as soon as the installation starts , antivirus will block the file.

Solution - Use verity of traffic sources and keep track of your returning users percentage.
2. False positive AV flags -
When using the same installer for a long time it might be flagged by AVs (false positive)
Solution - refresh your files by logging in RevenYou account and taking new installer from time to time.
We recommend replacing files at least once a month with new RevenYou installers.
BTW - wrapping 2 different installers (e.g. Amonetize and Revenyou) together is not compliant with the T&C and may cause being blocked. please avoid it.

Revenyou is not working good even after I replaced the old installer files with the new ones.Installation don't even starts because antivirus blocks it always. I tried it myself. With the same amount of traffic now i am earning $1-$2 while earlier I used to earn $15-$20
