Come on man.. you just had to remove the spaces and the quote marks.

remove the final spaces from url

I just tried this on my week old blog and didn't run into any problems. I wonder what could have made it do that for you...

This trick is genious.. I tried it with a wordpress spammer last night, and a few links is already up. Bloggers must be blind! Haha.. I used to suck at getting links to stick, but I think that's going to change now.
