Earning Bitcoin

Wow. Mining in 2011 produced loads of coins, not it takes A LOT of effort to get a few decimal points.

Look at how much more those few decimal points are worth today compared to 2011. Fewer coins--that's the intended consequence of increasing mining difficulty as processing power increases (well, keep them producing at a constant rate every 10ish minutes). The reward got cut in half a few months ago. Scarcity is built in. :)

Yup like the guy who bought 2 pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins... Do the math, ridiculous. But then they were worth like $30, so good deal back in the day lol

Bitcoin is a interesting concept. Did you know there is Joomla plugin so people can use BitCoins to purchase products.

Bitcoin now exceeds the value of 20 national currencies:

Seems Bitcoins have made a remarkable comeback from the other reply's on this post because today 5/10/2014 I just checked the Bitcoin exchange rate and it came back as [h=1]1 Bitcoin = $452.75[/h]

If people knew that the price will be $452 per bitcoin, the guy who spent 10,000 bitcoins on pizza wouldn't spend on it :)

I still havent figured out how to turn bitcoins into cash from a trustworthy site smh

I don't think anyone would be able to make good amount of BTC by playing games. There are few BTC related forums. You can sell your signature on those forum. It is a good option of earning BTC.

If you need bitcoin i would recommend btc jam or borrowbitcoin . net they provide loans for bitcoin!

this thread is an incredible example of why you should always do your own research and not listen to random people on the internet's opinions. this thread alone could have brought many people 6-7 figures with essentially no effort.

be dilligent bhw

I have been using Coin Tasker for 3+ years and still use it often to earn bitcoins. It's a bitcoin social network that pays free BTC for things like logging in daily, making friends, posting status update, likes, etc but also has an enormous variety of offerwalls with micro tasks to earn bitcoins by doing stuff like watching videos, downloading apps, surveys, trials, etc. All around it's been a reputable site that has paid me multiple times in the few years I have used it casually. They also have Xapo faucet games, that pay out smaller amounts of BTC instantly to your Xapo wallet, which can be seen as a waste of time, or potentially a small investment of time in which it may be worth plenty more down the road. This post is a great example of how small amounts of bitcoin dust can gain tons of value over the span of just a few years. The Xapo sites are Wheel of Bitcoin, VidyBit, and Keno Bitcoin. Feel free to share if you have any other resources for earning BTC in this newer age of $1K+ value per BTC, because they seem to be disappearing quickly!

It's funny that this thread was bumped, I actually just got back into the bitcoin game about a week ago after looking into ASIC miners. Avalon beat BFL to the punch, but when BFL starts shipping thousands of units the difficulty is going to exponentially increase in no time. It's a shame because if only one of the most powerful ASIC miners (the 1,500 GH/S miner) was out, it could be pulling up to $8,000 worth of bitcoins per day--absolutely ridiculous. But because of the thousands of orders, people are projecting a difficulty around 50x higher than what it currently is in just a few months, making each machine earn way less. It's hard to imagine dropping $30,000 on a machine like that, because once the machine becomes unprofitable to run, you have a $30,000 doorstop lol. But damn if you could get one early it would pay for itself quickly.

Anyways, I'm looking into some other solutions to make mining bitcoins more profitable, it's extremely interesting now that they are worth almost $50 each, and I'm kicking myself for not buying them when they were $4/piece... Oh well, hindsight is 20/20 lol.
Did you buy?

lol...
Didn't buy in at $20 in 2011 because they were $4 in 2010.
Wonder if you bought in at 2013 even though it was $50 then
