Why is it so difficult to get torrent invitations?

I'm trying to be part of torrentleech and iptorrents. I have been begging here and there, asking more than 150 users (legitimate users), and everybody says no for one reason or other.

Why is it so? How did they get invited?
Why is it so difficult for me to get invited?

The whole point is for it to be hard join, many top trackers explicitly state that you cannot give away invites in public places. On top of that why would someone risk their account for someone they don't know? Because you can be banned if your invitees break rules or have poor ratios.

As someone who is a member at pretty much every top tracker I would be surprised if you EVER got an invite to a worthwhile site by begging on here.

I have so many IPtorrent invites, but I am always worried about giving them out because if someone i give them to doesn't keep a good ratio, it directly effects me. I run the risk of getting banned and i am an uploader/Power User

Exactly, I too have iptorrents invites and few other niche elearning trackers but before I give you an invite, i need to know your internet speed so that i know you can seed back

To answer your other question about why it is so hard... Open registration closed years ago on IPtorrents. they got the amount of community members that they wanted and closed it. Actually at one point 4-5 years ago they actually stripped everyone's invites and said they wanted no more members. They have since restored peoples invites, but have not restored the ability to earn more

yes, randomly, but they no longer offer the ability to purchase them with bonus points. that is what i meant

Yes of the top trackers IP is one of the more lenient with invites, I would never invite someone to What, BTN or a few others unless I knew you in person.

Why not offer $10 for an invite, I'm sure you will find loads of people who will help you then.

You can try asking on this and other forums for invites. It won't kill you..

1. Buy an invite from the site directly.

2. Find their IRC channel and get an interview and provide ratio proof.

3. Trade an invite you have, or trade something else, for an invite.

Why don't you just buy your membership? It is just $20 and you will save time and frustration. Furthermore you will get 2 invites which you can sell or trade and make your membership almost free.

Love it how students always bring out the "I'm broke" card.
You want to get shit for free then maybe barter something, (your time, doing work for somebody?), as was suggested above.

Torrent trackers (private ones) have very strict terms of use, and very very limited community (they don't give invites for everyone who wants it). For different trackers the reason why you can't find invites is different. Some of them sell invites. Some of them only give invites for their VIP users, so to get one invite you have to ask some user with VIP account of the particular tracker. Reasons can different. There is forums (not post url here, try with google) in which you can ask people to send you invites in exchange of little information of you internet speed or so (they will ask you this, because they wanna be sure you will be active member of that tracker they give you invite).

Ask g**gle this - "torrent invites forum". There is 3-4 maybe more forums. Getting into the first one or two (1st and 2nd of g**gle result) will be enough.

I'm with IPTorrents from their beta starts - I still have my invites available and I will not share it with somebody for nothing, I got my Power User with 10x ratio I don't want to screw it
