i posted it in the wrong thread so i will repost it here,

to all of you sucessful interenet marketers, i have seen most of you just doing and working everything you got. like voidray's thread that was about 1k per day. he kept working on it and kept talking about new ideas, ranging from kindle to many other methods. i understand youreagerness but, when will you stop? for example in voidray's thread he said that he has reached his goal but WTF, isnt 1k a day not enough? dont u want to go and hit the road or conquer a mountain or something? im not asking this specifically from voidray but all of you with great enthusiasm. i do appreciate your enthusiasm but for me hitting 100 a day is enough i so can live my life in peace and then start working on something small like opening a restaurant or something that i like. again, do u sucessful marketers have a goal that you want to hit and then just stop? or this is the life you chose? because i primarily chose this path to be able to work from whereever i am.

If doing IM is what makes you happy then you will want to work on projects whether you earn 0$ or 5000$ a day. If I'd win the lottery tomorrow I would buy myself a nice house with a nice office, and start a whole bunch of new projects. Personally I wouldn't stop if I'd hit 10K a day. (atm I'm still a couple of digits short :p)

$100/day is Enough for many of us IMers.

But

Don't Forget Steve jobs Said: Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish.

that is true if you love IM. but i kind of feel that we are all doing this because we love when we see ourselves taking a step forward like achieving one dollar extra. so i guess you have that feeling with any other things that you like?

It's peaceful enough with $100/days, but i think when you doing $1k/days the amount of peace is just extraordinary. I worked 12 years in bars/restaurants. Word "peace" just doesn't fit anywhere near this business. Or any for that matter. What's more peaceful and rewarding at the same time than typing and clicking on your home computer for tax free cash? More you make it now - less restaurant job you have to do later, and actually enjoy your retirement days.

i didnt mean to work "in" a restaurant, i meant open one. since i kind of love managing it. yes that is nice to work from whereever you are, and that was my primarly reason. and i still would love to do that by just maintaining whatever i am making. but working harder to get something else going on aswell just doesnt fit in my dictionary, because i believe in legacy and working on laptop doesnt make a legacy for me. after all legacy is what will be left from us.

It depends whether you're the ambitious kind or the 'comfort' kind. If you're comfortable with your 100/day earnings, then fine. Be happy and good luck. Start a family and enjoy life. There's nothing wrong with it.
I know friends who just want a simple job that pays them just 2.5K a month. But if you ask me, I'm never satisfied even when I hit 1K a month. I 'might' be satisfied once I hit my 100K/month, but I still want more.

Did Napoleon stopped and started enjoying his success when he became a Brigadier General (1 Star General) at the age of 24? No, he went to became Emperor of France and even went conquering nearly every part of Europe. Did Hitler stop when he became Chancellor of Germany? Nope, he, too, nearly conquered the whole of Europe.

You might say there's greed in ambitious people... but well, we all have a different perspective on life and success.
You could say a man with a 9-5 job that pays 2.5k a month and has a happy family successful; but another could say wealthy people like Bill Gates or Warren Buffet is successful.
Different people, different perspective.

Most importantly, live the life you want. Don't let society tell you how to live. And never compare yourself with others. That's the lesson I've learnt.

that is exactly what im trying to find out by asking this question. Ofcourse i am not satisfied with something that just covers your "life" but not "a life". im just trying to find out working on this at what cost? maybe im just new and do not understand how working on this marketing will affect your life.

i do love internet marketing but im just not "in love" with it.

appreciated your thoughts.

Why sit around all day enjoying your money when you could be making it ten-fold, then you set up some passive income sources then you sit down and enjoy it.

It's people nature to be greed and never satisfied. Kinda you might feel like when you reach the goal of $100 daily, that's all you need, but then again when you see someone earning 500-1000$ daily, you will feel kinda like, why should i not make that much as well, why is that guy better then me, what does he have or do, that I cannot. It's just how it is, human greed is unstoppable.
